I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea here with my Daughter yesterday. Everything was perfect. Our enjoyment was made even better by the excellent service we received. On arrival we were greeted at the door by Emily and shown to our table in the conservatory. Emily couldn't have been any more helpful. She was attentive, friendly and polite and went out...

A well signed route in by car means it's easy to find. We were greeted by a very chatty and friendly young lady and booked in and shown to our room. A cream tea was part of the deal so we took that in the lovely gardens, bit of a mix up meant the scone arrived after the first tea/coffee...

Super place to stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our dinner was delicious. Each course was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The room was spotlessly clean and the views were a delight to a city dweller

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely and all of the staff were really friendly. The views from the conservatory were sublime. We didn't venture into the gardens but they looked beautiful. We will definitely visit again

Wonderful! Includes european adapters for plug in chargers. The food is amazing and the staff is very kind and friendly. The hotel is used for weddings as well. It is a good place to stay for the ones that like to relax in the country side

I hadn't stayed here for a while so it was great to return and rather annoying to realise what I had been missing ! The rooms are just so good, excellent bathrooms, soft bed linen and great beds. Food is to a high standard and to be honest I cannot think of a downside . A must if you are...

Where to start. Well... we love Goldstone Hall, the food, the atmosphere the rooms are all exemplary and the kitchen garden is worthy of a visit all by itself. My wife and I stayed overnight, dinner bed and breakfast in August last year for our anniversary. We also got married there 10 years ago and if anything, the place has...

We visited Goldstone for a Christmas family dinner and were very surprised at the service, quality of food and overall standard. The staff were excellent and very knowledgeable with regard to firstly the wines and then with information about the menus. They managed to get it exactly right without being over familiar and we found them very easy to talk...

Three times I asked. The food was nice overall. I had the beef main. Yorkshire puddings were a little overdone. I had the chocolate orange tart for dessert it was very rich! Couldn't eat it. Tried the pavlova and that was much nicer. The staff were lovely and attentive just don't ask for a drink.

I stayed at GHH as part of a shooting party. We had a private dining room for dinner. A lovely hotel. Cosy, warm, it feels as though it wraps itself around you and looks after you. The staff were wonderful. They looked after our party wonderfully. The dinner was superb. The beef wellington was very well made. Great dessert, cheese,...
