I LOVE this Inn! The property is a gem and the proprietors are warm and welcoming. It's very reasonably priced as well. If you're looking for a place with charm that's quiet AND well located, try it. You won't want to book anywhere else. Sorry for sounding like a commercial, but it really is great. :-)
Although we only stayed one night at this charming B&B, our stay was definitely memorable. It was like coming home to a grand place. Our room was impeccably clean and cosy, comfortable and well-appointed in old-world Cuban style. We will definitely revisit when we can enjoy the breakfasts, once they will be available again in the dining room, post-COVID.
Recently stayed for a two night viist in this beautiful B&B. We have stayed here a few times over the years and it is always a warm welcome back. The rooms and common spaces are immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast option has shifted to a boxed breakfast due to covid restrictions, though it is lovingly prepared & packaged with delicious offerings made in house that changed each morning. A new (to us) addition is the hot tub on the front veranda; though we didn't end up trying it out this time. The fresh baked cookies were a nice touch as well! Shana and Bruce are lovely hosts and we look forward to many more visits to come!
Beautiful home that made us feel welcome, relaxed, and cosy, would definitely recommend to others, right in the heart of Wakefield. Comfortable room, beds, pillows, with inroom mini fridge and coffee maker.
My husband and I decided to take a "mini-vaycay" to celebrate our 1 year Anniversary. Looking for a cozy little place near the Nordik spa we fell upon the charming little town of Wakefield. We decided upon "Les Trois Erables" very last minute (we had reservations for 3 nights somewhere else). We are so happy we cancelled our original plans!! Les Trois Erables B&B was exactly what we were looking for! This beautiful and elegant "Boutique Inn" had my heart the moment I stepped inside. The place smells amazing and our room was absolutely perfect! The owner "Shana" has top notch staff that maintain a high level of cleanliness. Covid protocols are in place and we felt very safe here. I have to say the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Fresh towels, clean coffee mugs and homemade cookies were left outside our door each morning. The room was equipped with a fridge, coffee maker (tons of coffee and teas to choose from) milk, cream and soft drinks. The owner has really thought of everything to make your stay the best possible. I fell in love with this place and hope to return someday....the best 1st Anniversary ever!! Thank you Shana!!…
My husband and I attended my nephew's wedding at Le Belvedere, a gorgeous venue in Wakefield, Quebec. We had the pleasue of staying at Shana's Les Trois Erables, a bed and breakfast. Shana was friendly and helpful from my first communication with her months ahead of our stay Aug. 12 and 13. The house was beautiful, clean and the rooms comfortable and pleasant. The bathroom was updated and just lovely. Shana's special touch of leaving home baked cookies each day was quite a treat! A beautiful stay in this quaint and scenic town of Wakefield, Quebec.
A most welcoming place! Beautiful historic building with a large porch fitted with. hot tub at one end and comfy seats and table at the other end where guests can sit and enjoy their drinks and snacks, wineglasses and mugs and bar equipment available in the guest kitchen. Bedrooms vary in size but each has an ensuite bathroom with modern plumbing, a bar fridge and coffee/tea machine, and very comfortable bed(s) with good pillows and bed linen. There’s plenty of parking, a well-supplied grocery store across the street, lots of clearly marked trails in the vicinity, and the town of Wakefield is charming. Best of all is the owner of Les Trois Erables. Fluently bilingual, Shana is the friendliest, most helpful and accommodating hostess I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.
We celebrated our anniversary here both in 2020 and this year. We tried two different rooms and both were really comfortable and unique. Shana helps with any information needed on Wakefield and all the little details make you feel pampered. (Yummy homemade cookies in the room!) Covid protocols were in place and we felt very safe. We'll be back next year!
I just re read my first review of this B&B written in 2013 and the sentiments are really the same! Although we missed the fabulous breakfast in the dining room due to Covid restrictions, our stay was exactly what we were hoping for. We stayed 4 nights in the Gatineau room once again, and appreciated the spacious room and ensuite. Morning coffees and afternoon glasses of wine were enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the gardens. There was live entertainment to enjoy one evening, and we felt privileged to have our own private viewing space! Despite having to work around protocol, Shana did her best to provide an above average experience. We highly recommend and look forward to returning to Les Trois Erables very soon.
We loved every minute of our stay. The home is beautiful and the room was so comfortable in every way. Breakfast was delicious and generous! It was so nice to relax on the porch with a glass of wine in the evening and feel right at home. Shana is a such a gracious and warm host; it was lovely to have a little chat with her and feel like you were having a nice visit with a good friend. We will certainly be back!
