"Moin!" ...

No matter what time of day you are greeted with a cheerful and warm "Moin!".

Every interaction with the attentive staff starts with this very pleasant North German custom and all your wishes are read from your lips. (Special requests, questions and excursion tickets were always responded to very quickly and personally. Thank you for that!) We have rarely been so looked after and welcomed personally as in this resort.

The love is in the details, could also have been used as the title of this review. Regardless of whether it is about the care of the historical architecture, the constant furnishing of all rooms with freshly cut flowers or the cleanliness and background music in the common areas.

The room was also very luxurious and lovingly furnished and the cleaning staff were also top notch. The mini bar and snacks were constantly refilled (at no extra charge) and the towels and bathrobes were very cozy.

The spa was very relaxing, spacious and overall of a top standard.

The outdoor areas were perfectly maintained and you had the feeling that the work was done with love.

The parking spaces (including the underground car park) are spacious and safe.

The big highlight is the extended breakfast buffet until 1:00 p.m.

This alone makes a relaxing holiday worthwhile, where you can even unwind for a whole day in the spa area.

When you leave the hotel, you definitely wish you could have stayed just a little longer.

The Severin*s is our second home!
We really appreciate the neat, calm service!
All employees are very friendly, attentive and love their job!
Checking in at the salon is very straightforward.
The porters are all extremely helpful. You immediately get into the holiday mood.
The Severin*s is perfectly managed by hotel manager Christian Siegling.
His presence is a guarantee of high quality!
He pays attention to every detail and is very careful to ensure that every single guest feels completely comfortable!
That is the secret to his long-term success!
Every morning we look forward to the fine breakfast buffet. Everything is only the best.
The HOOG restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants on Sylt!
Very good selection and courteous service (André and his team).
The rooms are very homely and extremely clean. The "turn-down service" is perfect.
Our little dog Tina is always welcome too.
The SPA is an oasis of calm. Wonderful swimming pool. Enjoy the excellent massages (Magdalena, Matthias..)!

Very competent advice on restaurant reservations and other requests from the team at Concierge Clef d'Or Heidi Velz!
We look forward to enjoying the relaxed luxury at Severin's again soon!

A luxury hotel demands its price and offers a lot.
You are guaranteed to feel good, hardly any wish remains unfulfilled.
Question: where do all the friendly, always cheerful staff come from?
It's a shame that name tags aren't required, we find that impersonal. The second criticism is that the television doesn't have videotext.
Other than that, we felt completely at home everywhere and at all times.

We heard this question very often during the 5 days. And this is exactly what illustrates the "spirit" of this hotel, which is definitely positioned in the luxury segment.

All the positive comments about the location, comfort and gastronomy are entirely justified.

The fitness room, which is poor for a 5* hotel, is certainly something to criticize.

When we booked, we knew that the Sylt clientele brought an unusually high number of dogs with them. You should like that.

Unfortunately, we had to leave early. When we checked out, we were asked for our name again. No question about whether we enjoyed our stay. No word of polite regret. Or whether we could be helped with our luggage or valet parking.

Not to mention that a manager took an interest in us. Guests are treated with formal politeness, but ultimately they are only seen as wealthy anonymous customers.

The 3 nights we canceled were largely billed, which we also offered.

At least: when we handed over our room cards, the receptionist wished us "bon voyage".

Moin Folks,

well, once a year the cat is allowed out of the bag, money doesn't matter, enjoyment is written in big words and then fully tasted, since it is only possible here.
Following pictures/photos give clarity, the room, breakfast, wow - wow - wow - here is everything the heart offers for “small” and very “big”, already a genius. The newspaper service is a matter of course, I could decorate it without end here, here the service is enjoyed and lived authentically, everyone greets, trumpet galactically horny flat, we like to appear here again and again, here man may still be human⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed at Severin’s for several days. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
The spa was unfortunately only available to a limited extent due to illness and booked treatments were cancelled.
I would recommend even in September to book a room with air conditioning, otherwise it heats up very much during the day.
All in all, the place is highly recommended!

We have known Severins for several years and what really impresses us is the high level of service, which has never diminished in all that time. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is more outstanding than we have ever experienced in other hotels of this class. The mixture of authentic lightness and yet perfect service orientation creates this unique feel-good atmosphere. It is easy to switch off and enjoy here.

Speaking of enjoying: The culinary offering is fantastic. And that starts with breakfast. Especially in summer, the ambience on the terrace is a dream. The breakfast team is brilliant and absolutely outstanding. I have never experienced such warm and attentive service at breakfast in any other establishment.

The other two restaurants, Hoog and Tipkens, are also fantastic. We always visit both restaurants on every stay and are always impressed by the service and the menu. We really like the new concept of Tipkens by Nils Henkel - "Flora & Fauna" - and can absolutely recommend it!

The spa with the large pool is the best on the island for us. At the very latest, you can completely forget the stress of everyday life and just relax. We have already experienced a number of treatments (massages, hammam,...) and were always very satisfied. This holiday was the first time we took part in a few fitness courses and these are also highly recommended. The trainers take every participant along, regardless of their fitness level. Really great.

We are once again delighted and will definitely come back.

Weekend away for two and we could not have wished for a better place. There is so much to say but what stood out the most is the staff who really seemed focused on making our stay very special.
Our room was very comfortable, large and pleasant with a large bathroom and a wonderful bed. Breakfast was great too with a large selection of almost everything and a combination of buffet and personal attention and service.
Look forward to return soon!

(We can also recommend Tipken’s)

A warm welcome on arrival, unobtrusive, very friendly staff and a breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired!

Everywhere you meet very friendly and motivated employees who make your stay unforgettable.

The rooms and the entire hotel are very well maintained and of high quality. It is a pleasure to be able to stay here! For me one of the best hotels in Germany. We felt very comfortable and will recommend the hotel without reservation and will happily come back!

Many thanks to the entire team for their great commitment!

Staff, breakfast, service, GYM and SPA were perfect. Dog friendly hotel. Children are also welcome and well kept busy. Wi-Fi and streaming on the TV leaves something to be desired. 5***** - we will definitely come back.
