No WiFi and arrogant service. No airco and loads of bugs. Try elsewehere. Breakfast is ok, bathroom also. Old and loud. Tv is bad; seems as if it is with an antenna and not with cable. Gangway smells like old clothing. Is in center but this makes it also noisy (there was a party down the street and we could...

We had 2 lovely large rooms with a view of the river. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location in Lier is superb. There is a large comfortable dining room decorated in the old Flemish style with a garden where you can sit in the sun. We have stayed here several times before. We will be back!

The Hof van Aragon is in the perfect place for sightseeing in Lier. Right beside the canal and its less than a 5 min walk into the centre. The staff were friendly and happy to give advice and share the local knowledge. That however is the end of the good. Unfortunately the feel of the interior is very out of...

Hotel needs an update, the size of the bedrooms and bathrooms are very good, and it was clean, but everything looks very old. Breakfast is ok. All the staff were really friendly. The parking is not so easy, you have to park on the street, and at night you don't need to pay, but the problem is that sometimes you...

We had booked five rooms with half pension for our trekking group who had walked 26 km in the November storm and rain. When we arrived the receptionist could not find the booking first. After 10 minutes searching emails he found it and fortunately there were rooms enough, BUT we could not get any dinner since they did not know...

A little cosy hotel with good location. The rooms are of good size and the bathroom is nice and clean. But the carpeted floor in the bedroom doesn't look fresh at all! I hope they will change it to wooden floors soon.. The only thing that saves this hotel is the breakfast! It was very good!! But I wouldn't stay...

Good hotel in a good location for being close to all the main areas/sights in LIER,which is a very pretty and quaint town. Also a very good base for visiting Antwerp,Brugge by train. The hotel is situated in a back street off the Grote Markt (main square) ,basic reception area with a rather lovely breakfast room that in appearance is from...

Located in the city center, while there are quite some parking options in the area available. Room 22 is relatively large for a single room, with an actually quite nice large roof sloping window. No door between the bedroom and the bathroom (and open shower, too), which did not really matter to me. Overall clean and good. Bed was a...

A small hotel hidden down a side road, but well situated in the town centre close to bars, restaurants etc. Cobbled streets, canals, and wonderful architecture The hotel had large rooms with modern decor. The restaurant was more traditional in decor with some very old brickwork & beams visible

Lier is a city worth visiting; gorgeous old monuments, delicious food, romantic atmosphere for a night stroll, etc... Our room was basic, yet cozy. The old sewer system can stink, through. Just close the drains when not in use. The hotel is next to an old canal, so mosquitos come in at night... Breakfast was good; go down early to...
