The hotel is located in a great area right across the beach and easy walking distance to restaurants and bars! When it comes to the interior of the hotel, it definitely needs some work! Some of the previous reviews prior to mine from several years ago stated that the hotel needed some upgrades and you'd think they did that after several years...seems like it did not happen. The room that was originally booked was absolutely below average from the description. Was given a room on the first floor right next to the elevator corridors where you could hear everyone walking, the sink was clogged, the toilet wasn't flushing properly and the room itself was so uncomfortable to just be inside, it felt so dark and dreary. We ended up upgrading to a room facing the beach on the third floor. It was definitely better but not superb. Bathrooms are old and sinks in both units we stayed in really need some attention as it clogs up fast! The breakfast buffet was great and staff were accommodating. Other than that, I probably would opt for a different hotel next time.…
I am Brazilian and I have lived in England for a long time. I took my English husband and daughter to Brazil and stayed at Marambaia! I am so grateful to have stayed at this wonderful hotel. The staff are very helpful. The hotel facilities are excellent especially for those traveling with baby. My room with a crib was very good. I love the breakfast view. Not to mention that the hotel is in front of the sea! I'm already telling friends from here and Brazil to stay and enjoy this great hotel.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights beginning of January/17. All staff is very happy and available. People from children recreation are amazing and my daughters always wanna stay with them. Time for this complimentary actives was also so good 14:00-22:30, so you can enjoy the pool or near beach while they are enjoying a lot of activities. Big and huge problem are the rooms. They need to be refurbished. Some places like the bathroom are very old and not enough maintenance are given as doors, glass box and toilet. Wardrobe doors do not open totally because there is a concrete beam to block the door movement. Safe did not work.
Stayed for 3 nights in Hotel Marambaia Cassino, and to say the least I was treated like a king for the whole trip. The Staff is very kind and always willing to help, special thank you to Daniela from Reservations, Carlos Eduardo the Sales Manager and Carmen from Reception. My room had an amazing view of the Beach and it was huge with a nice balcony on the 2nd floor. Even though it was low season I could enjoy their fitness center (which is great for a short trip) and the Indoor Heated Pool (31o Degrees Celsius) to detress after a day of meetings. Definitely my choice of accomodation in BC for the future, and I would reccomend it to anyone going there.
Very old Hotel. Not horrible, but the rooms are pretty worn out. The bed didn't use a bottom fitted sheet and the single sheet slipped around at night to disclose an old mattress. Air Conditioning pretty anemic and the wifi was almost nonexistent. Nice location, but for what this hotel is charging, I would find a newer property.
Old hotel that needs a lot of upgrades. Rooms are small and you hear everything from the streets in front of the hotel. Staff is good though. Not worth the cost. Wifi is weak in half the rooms. Ocean front doesn't always mean direct ocean front.
Extremely old fashioned......since the rooms to the service, breakfast, etc..... We did not enjoy the rooms at all. It is well located but if you like newer facilities, by pass Marambaia and get something around 3,000 a 3,700. Barra Sul has became nicer as well.
Great localisation. Lovely sea view ,our room 214 was on second floor. Bit small but clean, little bit noise nigh time special weekends( because of beach and people enjoying them time) but that's not really issue. Very helpful staff.Hotel got nice outside swimming pool also pool for littles kids which is very good option for family with small kids like mine.
Great view, close to the beach! The rooms are a litlle old, but clean and nice. Shower is good too. Coffee is included, is not very good but fine. A taxi costs from there to the nightclubs something close to R$45,00. They have a pool and gym. Its a good place for business and childless couples.
We did not expect much for the money we paid and were very positively surprised. The location if one of the best in Camboriu. It's at the norther part where it's a bit quieter but still in the center of the city and across the beach. We got a room in the top floor of the Bloco B., which was huge and had excellent ocean views. The hotel is a bit old but the staff was very friendly and helpful. So we really enjoyed staying there and considering the price we had paid it was on of the best places we stayed in Brazil.
