Great meal. Accommodated for gluten free Waiting staff a little rushed and dessert menus were delivered without any explanation of which desserts were gluten free. Otherwise service and food was good.

lovely helpful staff , very comfy very large double bed , wonderful cooked breakfast . But avoid rooms over the kitchen 1 and 2 , very noisy if you are in room at all during day early evening . Quiet after kitchen closes so good night sleep until around 8 am.

Thank you for your review and over all positive comments. The Bell is an historic protected building and try as we might it is difficult to soundproof all rooms. We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

Me and my mother traveled down to Saxmundham to visit family and my uncle recommended The Bell Hotel for us to stay in for the night. Our twin hotel room was spacious and had everything we needed in it: very comfy beds, a bath and shower, 3 big mirrors, a good-sized wardrobe...I slept like a log. There was a good...

Have eaten here several times and stayed once. I have just booked our next stay for two nights in January. There is so much to love here, the food, the rooms, the atmosphere, the staff and the close attention to detail within does not create a sterile experience. It's comfortable, the food is always fabulous, never had a bad meal...

We stayed two nights on a Groupon deal £109. This was great value. The staff were excellent and so was the food. We ate in the hotel both nights and everything was first class. Our second night turned out to be the hotels Steak night and I can honestly say that I have never had a rump steak as tender...

We have just returned from a one night stay at the Bell. The room was large with dual aspect Windows and the bed was very comfortable with crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen. The ensuite had both a corner bath and shower with a selection of toiletries and white fluffy towels were provided. The evening meal was delicious and well cooked...

Phoned and booked a table on a Saturday night about an hour before we wanted to eat, admittedly at 6.30. This was fine as they serve food all day. We had a delicious meal. Shared a starter then the lamb shank for me and the beef for my husband had lovely subtle flavours and beautifully cooked. The creme brulee and...

Went here with my wife, for Saturday evening dinner. We had booked, and were shown to our table straight away and seated. The Restaurant/Hotel was very busy, but the service was great. Starters of Scallops and Chorizo was delightful, and we both went for the Tuna and seared Nicoise. I have to say, that everything was cooked perfectly and we...
