The new hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. A good value for Pankalanbun. Location is near the market, and near the river, perfect for the evenings. Food stalls in the vicinity, and one restaurant nearby. Would definitely stay there again.
Tiara, the new block, has good sized rooms, but that is all. It is perhaps equivalent to two star hotels. The hotel provides a tea/coffee/water dispenser on the floor, which is a comfort. The hotel doesn't have elevator, which could be problem for elderly guests....More

It's a bit run down but the price is good for what you get.
Rooms are basic but sheets are clean and there is cable tv.
Breakfast was bread and tea although Indonesian people got nasi goreng so I guess you could request that??
