The highland resort was Our base to explore the Minahasa region. We stayed for 5 nights in this wonderfull place in nature. The rooms are clean, the service is heartwarming and we felt like home. The food comes from a local restaurant, as you wish presented in your room or in the diningplace. We can certainly recommand the trekking Tour...

After a few rustic and adventurous days in Tangkoko NP we arrived at the very welcoming Highland resort . Beautiful gardens and comfortable private little villa accommodation where we were made to feel very welcome from manager and staff . We had one night in a delux room which had no fan or air on but didn't need it ....

We stayed a couple of nights at the Highland resort outside of Tomohon. Its a nice friendly place, the room was pretty good. It is relatively cool up in the highlands, and incredibly beautiful. There is a "restaurant" at the resort, but fr dinner you order from a menu at about 6.00pm, and by 7.00 the food is delivered to...

More like small cottages in the village, we can see Mt Lokon outside the resort. Nice weather, cool at evening to early morning, n hot at noon. Lots mosquitos at nite. Nothing to do at resort, more like cottages than a resort for me. Standard breakfast. Same menu for 2 days in a row. Poorly, d rooms are lack of...

Bungalows were spacious with a warm, polished wood interior, a comfortable mattress and very clean! Room had refridge, hot pot, water, tea, and coffee. No fan or a/c in the room; these were not needed as 6 hinged windows allowed in the fresh mountain air breeze and bird songs. No screens on windows or mosquito netting on bed. (Mozzies not...

We initially booked for two nights and then extended another night. It is a handful of cottages situated in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful place. We spent hours in the little balcony reading and watching the rain pour down in the dense jungles that cover the hills surrounding the place. The breakfast is very good, you choose what you want...

My husband and I stayed here on a recent trip to Northern Sulawesi. We were primarily there for diving but took a few days break to explore the highlands. The hotel was friendly and we had booked a tour with them beforehand. The private tour was excellent - the guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. They customized the trip for...

We stayed 3 nights at Highland resort and we enjoyed it. Most of the time we were away with one of the staff who took us to many different interesting places in Minahasa and to soft trekking in the north. I think it is a good place to stay a few nights and explore the mountains and to go trekking....

This resort is nice although not all the rooms look over the mountain which is a shame. Our room was fine albeit a little bit musty. I would recommend to the resort to either get nets in the windows so you can keep them open or fans in the rooms to keep the air moving. This is a useful place...
