I had a really good time at the Rainforest Guesthouse. I stayed there for 5 days, of which I did a trekking for 2 days, organized by the guesthouse, which was really good! The hosts were the best people you can imagine. All speaking English...More

They don't offer pick-up from the Medan Airport, but when I went there, the owner gave me her WhatsApp number and gave me really easy information for how to get there with buses, what price I should negotiate (the price isn't in writing), etc. Then, they had someone pick me up from the Bukit Lawang bus stop. I think the 2-day trek is 60 euros each person. You also don't have to pay for the room when you are on the trek, which is good.
