We stayed in Playa Bejuca for one night on our way to Manuel Antonio. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the hotel setting is lovely and has a nice pool, it's a quick walk to a nice beach. The problem is with the rooms. When my husband and I first walked into our room we smelled a stale, mildew...

This hotel is lovely, secluded, right near the beach and with a nice pool. The staff, including Mildred, Sandra, Esteban, and Franier were helpful and professional and lovely to the children. We found the beds comfortable and the rooms clean. The negative reviews to me sound like people who would be happier at sterile resort, which we are not fans...

Our family stayed at Hotel Bejuco for 3 nights during our trip to Costa Rica. Playa Bejuco's seclusion was a plesant change from the hustle and bustle of Allejuela and Manuel Antonio. The beach was soft sand with good waves to either surfboard or body surf. Great sunsets and bonfires every night for the few people that came. The hotel...

This hotel is by far one of the best I have stayed at in Costa Rica, and I have stayed at plenty. Service was impeccable, the chef has a flare for details and it shows. The rooms where what surprised me the most. At the end of a dirt road this gorgeous hotel looks almost out of place. The rooms...

I stayed there for one night with my family in one of their "family" rooms. The quality of the bedding is really poor, with over-soft mattresses and over-stuffed pillows. The bedlinen was also of the poorest standard. The beds themselves made noise on the slightest movement, which made us having to listen to the couple next door in the middle...

Of the five hotels my boyfriend and I stayed in on our recent visit to Costa Rica, Hotel Playa Bejuco was the only one we really wished we had avoided. While the property has a nice structure and could reasonably be described as pretty, it was not well kept. Upon entering our room, we were overtaken by a strong unpleasant...

We were pleased to find this reasonably priced hotel right between the over-priced regions of Jaco to the West and Manual Antonio to the East. This hotel is convenient to both locations (about an hour either way). The hotel - however - is a bit odd in some ways. The rooms have no closets or dressers, so you will be...

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we absolutely loved it. We were here for 10 days and traveled around to several cities and this was our favorite hotel. Hotel Playa Bejuco was comfortable, cozy and enjoyable. The rates are very reasonable and include a delicious homemade breakfast. Location - Conveniently located between Manuel Antonio National Park and...

Hotel Playa Bejuco welcomed our tour group with a meal that was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate in their covered open-air dining area. The rooms were clean and spacious with modern bathrooms, the pool was well-maintained, and the tropical landscaping provided privacy to room entrances. The beach was a very short walk away with stunning...

I visit Costa Rica frequently. Most of the visits now days are for business. My wife travels with me most of the time. I/we have been familiar with the employees and owner of the Hotel for many years. Prior to this facility being built, I/we would use their hotel in Jaco, Hotel Mar De Luz. When Hotel Playa Bejuco was...
