We booked into the two-bed garden cottage for one night on our way to Kruger NP. After driving all day from Pretoria via Blyde River Canyon, Corinna and Cees gave us a very warm welcome and we could park our car safely behind the gate. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed...

We stayed over for 1 night in this cosy B&B last october on our way to Letaba. We did not regret our choice. - the garden rooms are spacious, clean and have all amenities you need. - the pool is great! A real and large pool and not the small "plunge pool" you sometimes find in other places. - the...

KEINE Empfehlung für B&B Bakkers! NO reccommendation for B&B Bakkers > The welcome was unfriendly. Cees (rental) was short-spoken. You had the impression, that he wants to return to the house very quickly. > On demand when breakfast is being served he said: "At latest nine o`clock, but no minute later, because food will get cold and we have to...

Dear B E, We are very sorry for you that your stay and your safari at our B&B and in the KNP was not up to your standard. However, except for the time of breakfast, the half open windows and the seats in the car, we don't recognize our B&B and the safari at all in your comments !! As...

We stayed here for one night on our way into Kruger National Park. It is very convenient for this, being only five minutes from the Phalaborwa gate. In some ways we regretted only staying one night as we were very well looked after, the room was comfortable and the swimming pool just outside. Breakfast was excellent. The Bakkers are welcoming...

peaceful, run by the owners (Dutch) who are totally in love with the country (which is very nice), very good breakfast, good and helpful service, nice pool, clean, spacious rooms and good location. Perfect for when you want to enter Kruger the next day. We were with two couples and had a lovely two-night stay.

This place is a good quality, peaceful B&B in the suburbs of Phalaborwa, only about 5 minutes drive from the gates of Kruger NP. The unit we stayed in was right on the margin of a beautiful little swimming pool, a great way to beat the heat of the day. Our room was quite big, a stand-alone unit, spotlessly clean...

As a party of three, we spent one night in this lovely B & B before heading into Kruger. Our stay couldn't be faulted at all -from the friendly welcome, to the great setting and rooms, to the scrumptious breakfast. We had the two studio bungalows that front onto the pool, and from the door of our one we could...

We stayed here for just one night before heading into Kruger. But we got a nice taste of this wunderfull location. We did some serious meat-shopping at the local Spar before arriving here. The welcome was very friendly, and Corina our host offered to store our meat in her freezer. The cottage was just right: quiet, clean and nicely decorated....

We had a short but excellent stay. We arrived very late (about midnight) and were greeted with genuine warmth and the offer of a cold beer! Breakfast was delicious and our hosts were gracious, generous and friendly without being overbearing. Not your average B&B experience. Very highly recommended. P.S. The aircon is fantastic and there is a great pool, a...

We experienced a great personal and friendly touch during our two stays. (August 2011) Lovely clean rooms overlooking an inviting swimming pool, set in a well kept attractive garden.
