We, 8 family members, stayed here in May 2022 for a night. The best part of this place is their family suite which is a combination of two double-beds: ideal for a small family of group of friends. The owner, Mr Mehra, was kind enough to allow us to change our booked room to this family suite. The other great aspect of this place is its amazing view from its courtyard, especially the sunrises :). You can do Yoga, take a stroll or just sit and relax and enjoy the sunrise. The view from its dining area is excellent too. Food, service and check-in/check-out processes were all great. Overall, wonderful experience and I will definitely come back.

had a lovely stay at Rainbow. The location is perfect, the surroundings so serene and the most spectacular sunrise views in all of Kasar. The vibe is peaceful, with echoes of birds and winds all day. The staff is great, very accommodating of your needs including home-style food. Location-wise, it’s a short walk from Hippie hill and Kasar devi temple - both locations offer a serene spot to watch the sun go down. I highly, highly recommend this place.

We stayed at kasar rainbow yoga retreat for 3 nights and 4 days in end of June 2019. It was quite a peaceful and comfortable stay. Located away from the hustle bustle of city life, this place was apt to have some nice quiet time with family.The staff was very cordial and warm. The owner Sabu, Manager Deepak and Room Service guy Shekhar made sure we were comfortable by keeping a check on even the minutest things. The rooms were very well appointed and comfortable with awesome view of the mountains and the greenery. The food was great. it was like home cooked food away from home. Kasar devi temple was just 15 min walk from this place. A must visit temple. Its at a height and gives you an amazing view of the almora city and other surrounding places. Jageshwar Dham is a day trip - approx 1.5 hrs each way... No TVs in the rooms which is a plus point. spend more time with family. :) We had a good time staying at this place. Highly recommended.…

I was travelling solo and visited this resort in the first week of June 2019. Kasar devi temple was in my travel list and wanted to spend a night in this resort. I have picked this resort since it was near by to the temple and also since its away from the city and I also liked the views of the mountains as seen in the photos. After I reached the place, I was very well received by the owner Mr. Sabu. His passion and his many years of travel experience reflects in his talks and his property as well. The place was very peaceful, the rooms were very clean. The view from the room was awesome. The food was delicious, though I have tried only limited items. The rooms are east facing and the view of the sunrise is awesome. I watched sunset from the Kasar Devi temple which is around 500m from this place. All in all, I found this place very peaceful and I extended my stay for further 2 days and spent my complete 3 days at this resort peacefully. I visited this resort in mid June and found just as apt as it was mentioned on web. The food service was great. The food was superb and the host took extra effort to cater unparalleled services to us. Amidst of wilderness this place is full of serenity and lovely host is just icing on the cake otherwise I had faced trouble in my prior visit to hills. Awesome food.Awesome host.

I had a four night stay here. I loved the serenity, simplicity, cleanliness and friendliness. The owner -Sarvajit went out of the way to make me feel comfortable each day. The staff were very knowledgeable about the area (thank you Deepak) and I felt very at home. The rooms are well appointed with great beds, nice duvets. Large windows with great views are another plus. A big yoga room on the top floor is great for morning yoga and meditation. Nice complimentary breakfast as well. Sarvajit helped me repair my hiking shoes so that I could enjoy my last day of hiking around the area. Small kindnesses like that made my stay quite wonderful !! I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking for quiet, international quality accommodations and friendly, attentive service!

Apart from the fact of being situated on top of a peak it is a picturesque getaway from the hustle of the town. You find yourself in space that is all yours with a commanding view of the ranges ahead. The rooms are all prim and neat, quality that is at par with a five star hotel. Coupled with the Himalayan jungles around you are at one with the nature and for the current price it's definitely a steal. You need to experience to know it's value.

They have recently totally renovated and the place is very beautiful - I stayed here a few years back and was very happy with it then but was very impressed now with the work they have done, especially the use of natural, organic building materials - very clean with new furniture and fixtures. The views are superb and it is very peaceful & quiet. Sabu is a very gracious host and takes the time to personally attend to the clients' needs. Also, there is a wonderful yoga-shala perfect for yoga and meditation and a new restaurant with great views and food. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a treating staying in Kasardevi-Almora then this is the best place to live in. A beautifully designed resort with wood and stone architecture and with modern hotelier amenities was actually a treat to stayed in Kasardevi. We(me and my two friends) loved the view of Nandavi range when we came out of this beautiful resort in the morning. I would like to specify, Kasar Rainbow team has provided fantastic services throughout our stay - they were very quick and understanding in needs of guests (as we enter in, they were ready with Hot Ginger+Lemon+honey Tea and worm towels!!! - wow, we really liked it!!!). Liked the breakfast/Dinner - very tasty and felt like home made food!!!👍🏻👍🏻 We stayed for two days there and it was a memorable stay for me and my two Delhi's friend..
