Nestled in the Naugaon village of Almora district in Uttarakhand, this 10 acre property with just three cottages is an excellent getaway for mountain lovers. Tucked away in the hill, a 20 minute downhill walk through a winding, and occasional steep, hilly road, you will reach a place that's worth your journey. A quite, serene space to watch, not only snow-capped Himalayan Ranges (Trishul, Nanda Devi & Nandakut), but many varieties of native Himalayan birds and opportunity to gaze night sky. If you love to trek, you would get experienced local guide to accompany you through your venture. Of course, you need to be ready to go through some challenging routes, if you are not accustomed to such paths. We did get few days of clear views. Even partly cloudy views were nice, as long as

I came across Itmenaan Estate while Googling farm stays in Punjab. While we couldnt visit there, we finally decided to go to mountains amidst this chaotic covid times to find some peace and quiet. And we were pleased we took this decision. The booking was done with Nusha who was patient enough to answers all my queries timely. The time from gurgaon to the place took us 12 hours. Recommended to take a break in between ( Freddy cottage - another Itmenaan property in Bhimtal) is a good option. We drove straight up and reached the place well after dark which isnt too much recommended as there is a walk to reach the estate. The walk isnt too long but ita downhill and better to enjoy the view during the day. Once we reached the estate we dint wanna cole back. The place is beautiful.

So I just visited Itmenaan estate in the Almora region and it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. Best thing about the place was the the view, the hospitality , the food! Everything was perfect. Earlier when we reached we were really tired and didn’t want to trek.. but I must say when we woke up in the morning and saw the property it was mesmerising. What a view💯💯💯 . We lost our charger while trekking but the staff searched for it and returned it immediately.. really kind of them! Also the quality of the food was really good.. the menu was limited but whatever we ordered was finger licking good. I also forgot my dslr’s sd card. I had no idea I forgot it but they called me immediately and informed me and are mailing it to me. I don’t remember the name of the staff person

We were looking for a place to work from home for a week and then we found Itmenaan. Right from the booking till our descent back home, the entire experience was awesome. Nousha, our online booking support helped us at every step cordially, she provided all the right & accurate information and made our booking experience flawless. On our way to estate & through out our stay we were very well received, guided & managed effortlessly by Bhavna, she was always there at any point in time and helped us resolve every slightest of an issue also that we may have encountered. The staff - Shivraj, Govind, cook - Ramesh and all other behind the scene made our experience very very special. Their hospitality is better than many of the established chain of 5 stars. I have no words for the

Far off the beaten track, this is the perfect, quiet Himalayan retreat. It’s a 20 minute walk down a mountain path from the road-head. When you get there you find beautiful accommodation, perfect views and absolute comfort in your rooms. Spotlessly clean, good linen and hot water. Great bathrooms! Food was good - if weather suits best served outside. Helpful, pleasant staff. Want an escape to the middle of nowhere? Look no further.

Where better to escape and recharge during the time of Covid -19? This location is the perfect retreat from the anxieties of the modern world, where you can unwind and enjoy the healing benefits of the natural world. Surrounded by stunning scenery and abundant wildlife it is possible to submerse yourself in a place the world has not touched. The views are mesmerising and there is a heady fragrance of flowers and the surrounding cedar and pine forests. The property has been constructed in traditional style offering a real chance to experience an authentic insight into life in the hills with a few luxuries thrown in such as piping hot water and bed tea. The food again, reflects the local age old traditions and is a delicious culinary adventure. This is served either in the

We booked this place to take a break from the city madness during Covid lockdown. This place delivered at all our expectations, The property is set in the middle of nowhere near Jageshwar Temple, a 10hour drive from Delhi. A 15mins moderate trek downhill from the main road takes you to well made, stone n granite style cottages. The thing that sets this place apart from similar properties is the excellent service by their local staff. A special mention to Govind Ji, Chacha, Maali bhaiya and Ms. Bhawna, they really know how to take care of the guests. Food was also above our expectations, really appreciate the efforts of chef to personalise our meals according to our mood for the day. Our only regret is that we stayed for just 4 days and the mega spiders in our rooms. Would

Arrived in the pouring rain and cold and the walk to the house was not easy. However, once we arrived in our room we were greeted with a hot drink and a portable charcoal fire and some calm returned to the world. The room was lovely, and the new looking bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. The staff are really lovely and couldn't do enough to help, and the hot water bottles to warm up the bed were a real treat. Eating in the large communal room was entertaining, again accompanied by a burning ember fire . The staff are from the local village, and whilst they may not be professionals, they have a great attitude and could not try any harder to please. It was quite cold in the main house, and in general, the old brick built rooms can be chilly. The location is stunning with views

The place is nestled among the Jageshwar hills near Almora. The staff is extremely kind and warm and at no point gave us any reason to complain. Food is good and personalised to your taste. To reach the Lodges are located at a 20 minute hike up and down so you’ll need to consider that fact.
