I travelled with a small group of friends to Itmenaan Estate in April 2022. The location is magical. Yes, it's worth the long ride getting there. Rooms are simple yet comfortable. The bathroom is really beautiful. Morning tea with the mountain view is really amazing! All the meals were very good, the local Kumaoni dinner was exceptional. Meals were served at different beautiful locations around the estate, one dinner was under the star lit sky... The staff are exceptions - very attentive, very obliging, And we were treated to the majestic beauty of Nanda Devi during our stay. The icing on the cake! Can't wait to get back. Thanks Itmenaanlodges for your wonderful management of our booking. And thanks to all the staff for the pampering!!

This is an absolute gem of a place, and the pictures can't even convey even half the vibe of this beautiful property and the hospitality they provide. The rooms are great too, with all the modern amenities you can experience in a 4 star hotel. I stayed for three nights during a bike trip - relaxing and unwinding. Had a peaceful and overwhelming stay with such a incredible view of the Himalayas, the food was fabulous and the staff was very helpful - Amit and his team were always ready and available at our disposal when we needed anything. Highly recommend to go and explore Itmenaan Estate once whenever you go to Uttarakhand.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights towards end April. We were received very well and were well cared for. The staff at the resort are very nice and go out of their way to attend to your needs. The Indian & Kumaoni food preparations are very nice. Chinese and continental dishes are best avoided. The resort provides you with a dongle for wifi surfing which works reasonably well. However, the facilities, for the price charged are totally inadequate. We stayed at the Pine Cottage. There is a ramshackle cupboard without hanger arrangement for clothes. No hooks to hang clothes. Furniture, though adequate is of poor quality. All in all we were disappointed. The stay is good for trekking. There is little else to do.

Without doubt one of the favourite Estate, I stayed during my time in Uttarakhand! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The majestic view of Himalaya especially the peaks (Nand kot and Nand khat) from rooms was so mesmerizing. The second day we did a village trekking which was guided by Amit, who works as a manager in the hotel as well. It is the most amazing experience we ever had. This place is extremely beautiful, quite and located in kumaon himalayas. The property, food and hospitality were just astonishing. The himalayas view from the window is simply awesome. The food has variety and each and everything was finger licking. Property manager Amit took very good care and attended to every request. What differentiate Itmenaan from others is the genuine care and attention of each staff member, their hospitality was beyond words. Totally, calm and quite with best experience away from the daily hustle of life. If you want to relax and rejuvenate in nature's lap, this is the place.

The most perfect experience & the most perfect hospitality you can imagine! The place is beautiful beyond words & so is the small lovely hamlet it's situated in .. Away from all commercialisation! It's ok definitely-recommended list! But just ensure people traveling are fit enough to do the trek to the estate and back.. Senior citizens & kids not recommended for this place.

What caught my eye most was the uninterrupted & astonishing valley view from our cottage Deodar. It's breathtakingly beautiful in many ways. To be able to see the infinite range, with the various gaon on top, which lit up by night is just picturesque! The night sky brings with it the 'little bear' and other constellations making each night special. The food was finger lickling local cuisine. The meats fresh (on request) and staff/service benevolent. Property interim manager Bhavna took very good care and attended to our every request warmly. Faithful canine friend Chintu kept my 4 year old company throughout. Only thing that was inconvenient was the walk to the property due to construction reasons which should be solved in some months it seem. So we stayed put at the property…

What stands out for Itmenaan is the genuine care and attention by each member of the staff. A friend and I stayed at the property for 6 nights in July 2021. There are a total of 5 rooms, all well maintained and clean. The staff is warm and friendly, customising all experiences as per your need. There is a 20 min downhill hike to reach the property and the approach road is in construction. This was a bit of a dampener, as it meant hiking uphill for almost 40 min everytime you want to step out. Overall a totally calming and beautiful experience, away from the hustle. Do try the many hikes in and around the property - the waterfall one was a stand out for us.

Stayed at this place for four nights in the first week of July. We were a large group (with ages ranging from 3 to 50 years) and had taken all the five rooms that are available here.If you are a single family with kids the take the Deodhar cottage as it has a separate sitting room where the kids can play and relax. As the name suggests there is a lot of peace an quiet here, the views are simply amazing and so is the food. The staff is very courteous and attentive especially Bhawna who made our stay very memorable. My little four year old fell in love with her dog Shintu and still remembers him even today. The rooms are neat and clean and are a bit on the rustic side as is expected at places like these. There are a lot of places to trek nearby provided you are reasonably fit.…

Our stay at Itmenaan Estate was off two nights. A hike down to the property lasting about 25 minutes downhill was followed by a warm welcome from the great staff at the property. A secluded place which was filled with amazing views and fortunately great weather. We stayed in two separate cottages while one cottage was slightly off putting due to insects, the other one was extremely comfortable. What made our stay memorable was the staff. From the manager to our guide for the treks every person was kind, humble and helpful. It made our experience worth it. Special mention to the guide who was the most amazing person. Overall a good experience, fouled by insects, however I certainly recommend a visit to this property.
