The pristine hinterland of Kumaon Himalayas has always been an inspiration for Imperial Heights. As you move into this boutique retreat, you will be amazed to experience authentic culture and nature that it has sealed within its teak interiors. Today, the word ‘Kumaon’ inspires visions of exotic hills, exceptional comfort, and the fascination of romantic & rugged nature. It is us at Imperial Heights who have been upholding this image.Perched 9 kms beyond the town of Almora, IH is tugged in a quaint village of Kasar Devi; approximately 2,100 meters above the sea level. The brainchild behind the resort, Mr. Bhupesh Joshi is a progressive Hindi Poet and a creative sketching artist. The well-manicured green patches in the resort are haven to range of flora and fauna that can be duly appreciated from Swarnika, the multi-cuisine restaurant that serves sumptuous Indian, Chinese and Continental delicacies.

Nestled in a serene setting with breathtaking views, Imperial Heights Binsar is lauded for its location near attractions and a tranquil atmosphere. While some visitors have mentioned a scarcity of charging points, many are enthralled by the proximity to Kasar Devi Temple and the vistas from the balcony. The hotel's amenities, including its architectural beauty and spacious rooms with large windows, receive high marks.
Although a few guests suggest improvements in electrical outlets and wifi, the inviting atmosphere and themed rooms add to the resort-like experience. Additionally, the exemplary service provided by the friendly staff enhances the overall stay.

Detailed Reviews
Imperial Heights Binsar was a delightful stay. A well laid out and thought of property, quite spacious and very pretty. It is a quiet location, where you can really kick back and soak in, yet not isolated.
Perched atop a hill, you get great valley views (though not mountain, which are on the other side of the road), and can see the entire town of Almora. You can get good shots of the valley from within the hotel premises and you can easily set up a tripod in multiple places.
The property is well done, very green and scenic. A lot of trees mean a lot of birds visit and the pool is full of pretty fish that you can feed (be careful what you feed them).
We stayed in the Imperial King room, which was delightful and of special note - is always warm inside, despite the chill outside. A very plush and comfortable room, which is spacious.
Meals were customised as per our requirement and really quite tasty. The menu is sufficiently varied to cater to different tastes, although as with all hill locations, do not expect the variety you get in a metro (which is ridiculous to expect anyways).
The staff, including Prashant (who manages the place) are very hospitable, warm and friendly and will make you feel at home. Smiling faces add to the charm.

It was our first visit to this beautiful resort had heard lot of praises turned out to be worth it. Once you enter into the resort will mesmerise with the beautifully done landscaping. A well maintained fish pond . You can stand and see them for hrs. Resort has ample parking space.
The Forest view from the rooms was fabulous. One can sit fr hrs and see the trees , mountains and the beautiful Sun Set. We stayed in premium rooms which are spacious ans cozy. Also having seperate kids room . Washroom is hygienically cleaned with best available toiletries. The safety and hygeine measure in this property are far better than and 5 star hotels we visited before. Each and every staff member is at ur service every time . So courteous ans humble. Will feel u at home. Food is awesome. Very very testy. We had local food and it was simply wow. The Terrace garden is like icing on the cake. You can sit on the grass and have sun bathing . Gym has many equipment if u wana work out. A big thanks to Shiban the magical Gardner , Kishan who is like a family and Prashant Panday who has good exposure in big 5 star hotels and every corner he was asking about our experience and if any improvement needed.
Everything about this place is amazing. We really felt the stress being unloaded and wished could extend the stay more. We will be back surely very soon. Kudos to Imperial Heights 👍

We simply had an amazing time at Imperial Heights. Spectacular views, great hospitality, tasty and affordable food, there just isn't anything to crib about in this hotel. The manager Prashant ji is a wonderful person, ever willing to solve any problem you may have. The food was made fresh and served hot every time we ordered anything. Our room was majestic and made with stones of the mountains, something very different. We would not miss any opportunity to go back to Imperial Heights.

It's a lovely property one can find to chill with friends or simply to enjoy nature. But the property is not at all well-maintained with average services. Blankets and linen are super dirty with hair and stains. In the name of sports, only a dilapidated billiards table, that too on request. Imagine they offer no tandoor food items. Even the smallest of restaurant has paneer Tikka and naan and we were were told both days 'mam neeche se koyla Lana padta hai, 10 logon me Kya laayein' so no tandoor. King room costs you 5k inclusive of breakfast and taxes (we were horrified to hear they charge 9k in peak season) whereas, queen cottage is for 4k. King room is huge and stylised so paying 5k for it didn't pinch. But queen room was small and average and it shouldn't ideally cost more than 2-2.5k. They don't do bonfire on rainy days because of wet wood. But for with mean they don't keep any on stock and cut it on daily basis? So on rain day, they will not plan anything for guests, no fire when rain stops and no music, nothing. The kitchen guy was extremely humble and polite so 3 stars only for him. However, food was average. Basically no planning ahead and minting money. Some Delhi guy had built this property and the locals in charge are ruining it completely. Never going there again.

Stayed there for a night & paid 9000/- for that. Vey limited option available for starters as the tandoor was not operational due to low occupancy . I have stayed in other hotels also in the same location within half the prices & this time chose to stay here as I expected to have better amentias or food option but found nothing different in terms of food & in terms of room the other hotel have better rooms . I was regretting my decision. Room was in a bad condition torn linen , dirty washroom , leakage in the WC , a television which is smaller than a PC screen I have at my home. Couldn't get why are they charging so much when they do not have any luxury.
only positive thing was the view from the hotel. Food whatever we ordered was tasty but I doubt about the hygiene as we found a dead fly in between the spoon & folk they gave me with the breakfast.
may be in the peak time they uplift their services but in off season I would suggest not to pay this premium amount when you can get more similar option within half of the prices.

I was looking for an offbeat location to visit with my husband and stumbled upon Kasar Devi. Imperial Heights Binsar was one of the few hotels located very near to the Kasar Devi temple en route Binsar from Almora. The reviews I read said it offered some breathtaking views and i was greeted to exactly the same when I reached the Hotel after a 10 hour drive from Gurugram. The check in was swift and Prashant (Hotel Manager) made sure our stay was every bit warm and comfortable. We stayed in the premium room on first floor which had a big balcony and opened right into the mountains and Almora valley. Even the king/ queen rooms and valley facing room (right below the restaurant) have a great view. The food was simple and delicious - it has less oil and spices which is exactly the way I like my food. Prashant arranged Kumaoni cusine for Dinner on one of the nights and i savored some bhaang chutney which was really good. Their room service is also very prompt and staff is extremely friendly - Mahendra and Manish took good care of us. The hotel has a common lawn terrace from where you can get some of the best sunset views in Binsar. They also have a some landscaping done with a small pond with fishes and a bridge over it which can interest the kids. The hotel has a carom board and a billiards table as well, though i wouldn't say they are in the best of shape. Also, the hotel needs a bit of denting and painting but the hotel staff makes up for it with their warm and smile and good nature. The upcoming cave rooms on the property could help attract more guests. The Binsar wild life sanctuary and zero point are nearby. I had a wonderful stay and will surely visit this place again if I come back to Binsar

Where should I start: Staff, Hospitality, Food, Rooms, Room Service everything was worth every penny.
Kasar is 16kms ahead of Almora and if you're looking for nice and relaxing stay this is a place to be. As there is nothing much to do except visiting the Kasar Devi temple.
The property is huge and once you visit every nook and corner you'll find insta worthy pictures.
Pros:
Staff: Very Attentive and Pays attention to detail and makes sure to personally check with you if you're needs are met. 10/10
Food: Delicious & Mouth-Watering at reasonable prices. We always had our dinner in the hotel. Tip: Please inform the staff at least 1-hr in advance whatever you want to have for Lunch/Snacks/Dinner but waiting for 1-hr is worth it. 10/10
Breakfast: Options are limited but whatever spread is being offered is delicious till it lasts.
Cons:
Spiders: The only problem in our room was of spiders and they were quite a few which can be a problem for some travelers.

It was a pleasant experience staying at imperial despite of incessant rains which caused floods in Nainital. Staff was extremely courteous and food was delicious although menu items got limited due to limited supply of groceries.
We had to extend the stay for another couple of nights and the views of almora valley were awesome from imperial kings room.
The space and activities for kids were also numerous due to which kids enjoyed their stay specially fish pond.
If someone is visiting Kasar/almora, then this is a must visit place to stay. Location is also accessible and major places to see are all nearby.
Special thanks to Prashant who made the stay very comfortable and was accessible at all times.
