We went as two couples in the resort and booked two cottages which were given to me above and below in a single cottage. I would say I had a decent stay not too good and not too bad. I will list the pros and cons below: Pros: - Resort was fairly decorated. - Only cottage resort, which gives privacy to the guests. - The cottage that we stayed in was a separate cottage only two rooms were there one above and one below where we stayed. - Our cottage was little separate from all the other cottages (C5 and C6) - There was a iron swing kept infront of our cottage. - They provide you free private bonfire infront of your cottage if you ask them. - Staff is well behaved and talks very politely to every guest. - We got our room sanitized with fogging machine infront of us. - The cottages were clean and beautiful. - They have got a huge bathroom, you will feel like a king in the bathtub. :P - Good covered parking for cars Cons: - Resort is located at a distant location from the park boking counter or the main road on Bandhavgarh. It is 4 KMs. - Moreover, the road to reach the resort is very narrow , muddy and poor. - Staff does not have communication bertween them, on phone we were told from their headoffice that they have 12 PM checkin. But when we reached we were told that it is 1 PM. But still the room was given by 1:30 PM. - Cleanliness of the dining area and the games area was okayish. - One more thing that felt was, in terms of the money they charge, iit feels like it would be atleast a 3-4 star property. But the food spread they server is not even a 2 star. - I would not say food was bad, food served was actually very tasty, but was very limited. Like only 2 dishes in Breakfast, not even a bread or egg were served. - It was only Upma and poori bhaji. We had to order for omellete separately which was billed to us. - The cottages were beautiful no doubt, but they need a good maintenance for such beautiful property they hold. The maintenance, I would not say was bad, but can be improved a lot in terms of property they have. Overall I had an okayish stay. I would say don't expect a lavish and luxury stay. But for a good and comfortable stay, it is a good option. Though the tariff is little high, but still since they provide very huge cottages with bathtubs or private pools, price is acceptable.…
I visited Maati Resort with my family to experience the safari at Bandhavgarh. As I pack my bags for the next destination, I carry fond memories of my stay at the resort. True it its name, the resort has an earthy feel with cottages surrounded by grassland and trees, giving it the feel of a jungle. The hospitality of the staff from the manager Prahlad Mishra ji to the chef Jayprakashji was pleasantly remarkable as they customised the services as per our needs. It's rare that all requests are met by the staffs with a smile - from arranging sandwiches and coffee for morning safari by Brajesh ji to putting up a bonfire by Amit Dubeyji in late evening. In middle of busy safari, Prahlad ji arranged a short excursion on the resort backside that added local flavour to the experience. The staff actively sought our inputs to improve the resort experience and were receptive to my idea about adding short excursion tours of nearby villages as part of package trip. I wish them the best and look forward to visiting again with my friends and family.…

Most amazing and memorable stays in this jungle resort. The rooms are modern and comfy. The speciality about this is it has organic farming , a well appointed spa and a swimming pool. Also the gypsy safari is at affordable prices there. We were a two friends and really had a good experience.
