Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge. Access:• Jabalpur Airport (200 Km) • Khajuraho Airport (270 Km) • Umaria Railway Station (32 Km) • Kanha (280 Km)Located within walking distance of Bandhavgarh National Park’s main gate, the lodge has been developed on the theme of an Indian village, with twelve thatched double–bedded cottages around an inner courtyard. There are two separate villas with further accommodations of eight rooms. A spacious thatched dining room serving home cooked Indian food and Continental cuisines, becomes the center point of activities like campfire performances, lectures and star gazing. The estate has meadows that attract deer and fruit trees that are home to birds and butterflies. An occasional alarm call from the jungle close by alerts you to the tiger on the prowl! Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge provides a professional resident naturalist, a library with wildlife books and magazines. Laundry services and recreational activities are also available – Jungle safaris in open 4x4 vehicles, bird watching, nature or village walks, elephant camps, and visits to the weekly market local fair or village schools. Bar-be-que dinners and campfire nights with tribal dances are some of the surprises in store for you!

Went with my family, wife and 2 kids in November, the location of the Lodge is just one minute drive with the safari jeep to the premium Tala range of Bandhavgarh. We got two rooms in a kind of a Bungalow. The standard of the room was ok, no luxury but nice atmosphere and clean and tidy. Our kids really enjoyed the food at this lodge and so did me and my wife. The park in itself is very very beautiful and although we didn´t manage to see any tigers we had some really exciting safaris with Shiv, the resident naturalist of the Lodge who I can recommend you to ask for if you go there. He really worked hard for us to see the tiger but since this is Jungle and no zoo nothing is guaranteed and in total we where very satisfied with our stay. I definitely can recommend this place if you want to go to one of the top Tiger parks of India.

Top class exotic property decorated tastefully (only passion about jungles, wild life can build such a amazing rustic property) right in the jungle near to core are boundary ,so need to be careful if you are wandering outside property. It is oldest in bandhavgarh owned by 3rd genration of Mr.Sankhla.Have no words to describe about this lodge.Staff is well trained, professional, neat n clean with all modern amenities except TV(who fool needs it when you are in jungle!)
Food is homely made , you can order literally anything. You can have BBQ in your balcony , inside the property area, commkn sitting area, or special area just outside property as well. Plenty of common sitting underneath trees .
Love it ,would visit again.
Kidos to Sadhvi(Manager) and her staff .
Room tip, opt for double room cottages
They have 20+ cottages with 3 varieties to choose from.

With so many options to ring in the new year it was difficult to choose. With all the "must do's and must pay's', and all the exorbitant price hikes, one really wonders whether it's worth the hassle. But Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge sounded like the perfect place to go for.
We were not forced into any extra costs and celebrations, ( Or noise ) and the place was perfect to sit by that crisp winter bonfire, and contemplate about the past year and read the fire for what's to come.

The place felt like home, with its earthy warm cottages and dinning area, and we felt welcomed and taken care of personally. Small details were attended to and I would like to thank Sadhvi Singh for this because she was there to connect with us throughout our 5 day stay and make sure things were going smoothly. Our safari's and bird watching walks were absolutely unforgettable, because of the terrain of course but also because of the naturalists, Kartikay and Priyadarshini Singh. Kartikay has extensive experience with being a naturalist and is very well informed with animal and bird behaviours. His skills and professionalism shines through with excellent narrating skills about the jungle and animal movements. We did not have many Tiger sightings but I did not miss it, because the jungle was alive otherwise and the storytelling captivated my attention.

The Lodge staff is very courteous and attentive too, with our hot water bottles in place under the blankets on crazy chilly nights and room put in order daily. The simple yet yummy meals were set at different locations on the property everyday which added to the adventure!

Some tips to improve on the already excellent service and hospitality, is that the shower water did not run hot for long, and the water pressure was quite low. The food could have a bit more of variation adding a continental menu to the existing one, and breakfast choices could be expanded.

I would say that all in all it was a great choice and I would definitely visit for longer, given that I did not get enough time to enjoy and explore all the well maintained and beautifully curated corners of the Lodge.

Thank you so much to the entire team.

This was my first trip to Bandhavgarh and indeed Jungle lodge made it very special .
As you enter the property you are made to feel comfortable and at home within seconds .

Rooms - The cottages are beautifully done up . Neat and clean rooms with all the basic facilities required in the jungle .

Food - The food was excellent , homely non oily, not very spicy . You can make out that the food is made with a lot of love and good ingredients . An amazing spread /variety everyday .

Hospitality is definitely their USP . Lallu bhaiya and his team were spectacular . We always had our jeep well set up before a safari , hot water bottles in place , breakfast was packed neatly and they knew our prefrences which gave it a personal touch .

A special shout out to Sadhvi and Shiv for going out of their way and making our stay super special ♥

What a way to begin 2022 Thank you so much for your lovely hospitality !

When we first arrived my wife was concerned as our lodge was quite a basic affair. After our 3 days we were wishing we could stay longer. Food was very good. Staff could not be better. The internet is only on for short periods. Enough to check emails but not a lot more. This meant guests have to talk to each other rather than have their heads down looking at a screen. Exactly what we should be doing. Sharing experiences and views. My wife was feeling slightly under the weather and when we came back from our first game drive she was shivering with cold. The response of the staff was to make a honey and ginger drink, put a fan heater in our room and a water bottle in the bed. Thank you to everyone at the resort. I hope we can come back again.

Just returned from a most enjoyable visit to Bandhavgarh Jungle resort. Tiger resorts do set and maintain high standards for all their properties and Bandhavgarh lived up to those. Sadhvi and her enthusiastic team left no stone unturned to take care of our every need (including a gluten-free and vegan dietary requirement)... the food was delicious and had a lot of local flavours which we miss in many other resorts. The room was spacious and anointed with all modern facilities including a room heater for the winter. The bath had running piping-hot water... most importantly Sadhvi ensured that each of our safaris was a delight as we had one of the best guides in Bandhavgarh (Sumit) accompany us. The icing on the cake was the exclusive sighting of Dotty, the tigress from the Magdhi zone as she had her breakfast....

amazing wildlife experience! staff was attentive. game viewing was first class. food was really good. all requests were honored and all guests were made to feel comfortable. I was staying with a small group and most of us coincidentally turned up with sudden health challenges. This required special arrangements for meals and meal times. Game drives needed to be juggled—all in all a lot for a small lodge. They handled this effortlessly like a five star resort. Also the air conditioning in the guest rooms worked great—100 plus degree temperatures so it helped make our stay comfortable. Note there is no air conditioning in the dining area but mealtime temperatures are generally acceptable

My family visited this property in Nov 22 for 5 nights. We have been on several safari holidays in the past but this one has easily been the best. Sadhvi and her staff do such an exceptional job in taking care off the guests providing such personalised hospitality. The food that was served was qmazing, staff was super courteous and friendly. The property has an amazing location right next to Tala gate that it's very common to hear alarm calls through the night and find pug marks outside the gate. We had karitikay (sorry if I spent it wrong) who was our naturalist for all our drives and his knowledge about the jungle and its animals is amazing. We will continue to return here not only because of the amazing Jungle but also for Sadhvi, Karitkay and the entire team who made us feel like we were part of their family.

Thank you Sadhvi and Thank you Jungle Lodge team 🙏

There are only few places like this. Sure the location is very good, but the staff is what makes the entire experience amazing. Rooms are clean, hot water, amenity kit available, tea and coffee, heater and they even warm the bed in the evening.
The food is tourist adapted (not too spicy) but still local.
If you are looking for TV then you should reconsider the reason of your travel.

Beware: leaving this wonderful place is very hard!

Great Hospitality as always. It was the 3rd stay at Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge and the longest of all. Stayed there for 12 nights but never felt that we are away from home. As it is said, somethings never change and this applies to Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge too. The place is superb to stay at Bandhavgarh and a must stay if visiting here. It is at par with the ultra luxurious branded places.

The lodge is very well maintained, rooms are nicely done. The lodge is also very nicely maintained with lots of trees. Had fun plucking mulberries in the Lodge. They also have many books and even Nat Geo kids magazines for the kids.

The staff was cooperative inspite of many groups staying at the time. Lalloo bhaiya and his team go out of their way to take care of the guest requirements. Food is very homely and tasty to have. A special mention for the Samosas (which Lalloo bhaiya knows now and have them prepared for us before us telling him). Essentials like breakfast & water bottles etc are kept in the gypsy well before the departure for safaris.

Sadhvi, the manager at the lodge, is super friendly to make you comfortable. She notices small requirements of the guests and makes sure that the same are fulfilled. With her and Shivraj (the naturalist at the Lodge) around, stay is never boring. They literally make you feel like family members and not guests. Had an awesome time with them and wishing for more visits.

Waiting to be back in the jungle of Bandhavgarh and the home away from home called Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge with the family members there.
