No doubt its a big property .. but leaves everywhere ... no cleaning .. broken rooms and toilets ... food is expensive roti/chapati size is 3 inch .. on top of that if you order 1 dish they say order atleast 2 .. Manager some yadav is worst person to talk with .. Avoid at all cost ...
This resort is located not too far from the gates of Bandavgarh national park and offers a good scenic view. The staff of the resort was helpful and services provided were good for the price that was charged. The food could definitely help with some improvement as I found it lacking in variety and taste. The resort room was big and conformable considering I visited this place during winters. Some things like providing breakfast on time for the morning safari and having different breakfast options after the morning safari could go a long way in improving customer experience.
Bandhavgarh is famous for its elusive tiger sightings. As we are wildlife enthusiast, we selected this national park as our new year destination. Our travel plan finalized in early December due to which most of the well-known resorts were fully occupied. Hence, we selected Ashoka Resort. The resort is located near core safari zones. The property is also well maintained with clean and spacious rooms. We have booked 3 rooms for 2 nights among 9 of us. They made proper sleeping arrangements for the large group. They served breakfast, lunch and dinner in a common dining hall. The service was major let down at this property. We have to request multiple times to get even a bottle of water. Breakfast was never served on time. On one morning they have served it at 11 A.M after a huge argument. Even after that breakfast served was below average and cold. However, the lunch and dinner menu were delicious. Especially we liked Daal and Bhaji (gobhi pakora) most. In summary, the resort location is good. However, unless they improve service quality substantially we don’t consider that it will be able to compete with other good properties around.…
Good decent resort with good staff polite and on time service. Was really happy with the helpful and down to earth nature of the owner Mr ram Yadav. Thank you for making our trip a good one. Really enjoyed it. 👍
good ambience and clean rooms and bathroom with tub facility. Nice stay , staff co operative. Specially Ramji the owner very helpful and arranges everything from safari to daily needs. overall perfect vacation spot. (Only drawback TV missing) regards, Amit Nag
We stayed at this property for two nights. The property is situated a bit away from main town. Look wise the resort is good, has greenery, old bungalows each having two rooms, that gives you feeling of staying near the jungle but getting all the required things. Rooms were spacious and provided with AC, bathroom was big. So giving two stars based on these points. But the property is old and ill-maintained, which can be seen everywhere, rooms have spots, bathtub was dirty, furnitures are in bad condition, some chairs and tables were broken. Room and bathroom has old broken windows, and insects were coming inside. They have bathroom fittings for hot water, but no hot water was provided. Very few staff were managing the resort, and the resort is unprofessional in dealing with its customers fairly. Food was average, less in quantity and overpriced. Not a decent stay it was.…
good place to stay as the rooms are well maintained... but not a good place to have dinner or lunch as the prices were excessively high which was not acceptable as the quality and taste of the food was not upto the mark...and the staffs were not co-operative at well...they were hiding the prices they charged for the food..at the time of check out they charged a huge amount of money for their food.... really a terrible experience....
The location was good and serenity you wanted can be availed...... ami bit away from the main market place..... very close to Talla gate.... But problem was there in the way they deal with the guests.....continuously they played a hide and seek game with rate chart of food and insisted that we take buffet of their hotel be it brakefast, lunch or dinner..... Even after repeated queries they didn't provide us the rates..... We did not take any buffet and ordered as per requirements..... AND at the time of checkout it turned out to that two pieces of boiled eggs cost Rs. 100 there.... leave rest rates aside.... Most important is that for the first time the rate chart came out..... Other than this the property is quite old and still in the phase of makeover..... This may take some time to complete..... Hopefully after that it will become very popular...... Otherwise good place for hangout with enough space …
numerous time we have been to Bandhavgarh and we have stayed in almost all known resorts. This time we had spend just one night at Ashoka resort. It is very simple place widespread nicely in big piece of land. Full of bird life. Rooms are spacious. If you expect luxury then you will be disappointed. Food was homely and tasty. It worth every single penny. Everything is just nice there because of RamGovind, who is an exceptional host. As long as he is there the place will blossom.
The Ashoka Resort is a nice property at Bandhavgarh . It's located outside the hustle bustle of town in nature's lap. Rooms are quite spacious , well kept. Staff is very hospitable and courteous. Food is delicious, mouth watering and homely . Owner Mr Udit Narayan takes personal care of guests if he happens to be in hotel. It's very reasonably priced property. Recommended for solo, business, conferences, photographers.
