Our Room was We had an amazing experience in the Hotel and the courtesy Mr. Rajesh Ji General Manager of the hotel. He is amazing host and is a wonderful person in itself. He started our memorable joourney at Hotel with grand tour and elaborated history with welcome drinks and an evening High tea. The location of the hotel is the best part of the trip. We had booked 2 rooms in the Old wing on First Floor in the main building as suggested by Mr. Rajesh and we were absolutely happy and satisfied. It would be good to speak to Mr. Rajesh before booking the property. The rooms in the new wings have AC and Old wing doesnt have but you will not need it for around 10 months of the year at least. The hotel has a good restaurant and most importantly the staff is very very cooperative and helpful. The staff gives too much of importance to guest and takes care of the requirements. Mr. Rajesh is available round the clock at the hotel and gives personalised attention to every guest. The hotel has a very good housekeeping and in room dining. The decor is amazing and ample parking space is availeble.…
We had stayed at some other WelcomHeritage properties, so the expectation was high here. Sadly, we were wrong. The rooms we got were not just colonial, it seemed the carpets, upholstery, mattress, bed linen and the bathrooms had also not been updated since the days of the Raj. Staff was nice, but poor upkeep of the set of rooms our group got, made some of us actually wanting to check out and look for alternatives!
We had a great time here Staff led by Mr Sharma looked after us very well. Chef Chandan made great food and staff such as Girish ,Lalit and Ganesh deserve special mention We shall be back Rooms were well maintained Anil Ghei
Heritage hotel, very nice location,Himalayan range was visible from almost every room.Hotel Manager Mr Rajesh Sharma was helpful. Staff was trained and courteous. Resort has a good resturant-Moti Mahal.Chef can prepare all kinds of cuisines on demand.
Shocking to see a reputed group like ITC Hotels lending its name to such horrible property. Someone needs to educate the hotel operator the difference between heritage and dilapidated! The condition of the property is pathetic and service doesn't exist. Torn hand towels, no floor towel, plastic shower head, yellowed toilet seats, plastic dustbins with black black garbage bags, unclean painted walls....name sake heritage. The manager thinks broken means heritage. ITC should start a "WelcomDelipidated" brand for such properties. Water is served in used mineral water bottle, obviously unsealed! Shocking state of affairs. Does ITC has a surprise visit to such franchise operators to ensure that the brand name and customer experience is not spoiled.
Well placed heritage property with leisure amenities. We Stayed in grand suite with fireplace and a decent guest g room that accommodated 8 family members in covid times. We choose time when caseload were light and ranikhet was almost covid free. Food was good and property is huge with almost all amenities. Ned a little better maintenance but can be discounted with pandemic situation. Nearest place to golf course and have a clear icy mountain view from rooms 🏔
Very good property in outer of Ranikhet with amazing views of Himalayan Nanda Devi peaks. Old mansion has all good rooms, suite#201 is best. Although it’s far from restaurant with access through stairs but still worth, unless you are travelling with elderly. Food is average with limited menu options. Staff is very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend it for people seeking solitude. Place has gym, pool table and ample sit-out places.
Enjoy the ambience of this amazing heritage property nestled away in the hills of Ranikhet. The staff is polite and helpful, especially Mr Sharma the manager and caretaker. Expert kitchen staff help satisfy your hunger pangs with tasty meals and the huge tidy rooms let you slumber the day away as you stare in awe at the Himalayan peaks from your room. Fitness enthusiasts can walk around the property and burn calories or even stroll off to the golf grounds at walking distance from the hotel. if there's nothing on your itinerary just relax and take in the aroma of the hills.
We went there for a quick lunch and decided to sit in the open. It is a beautiful property and excellent interiors. The inside of the property minds you of british era lodges and the rooms are exceptionally beautiful. The food however was okay. The chicken curry was little bland and pieces undercooked. The pasta as well as fried rice was decent. Overall, excellent ambience but sub par food.
A very beautiful property, nicely maintained, courteous staff and awesome food. Rooms are huge and have all the modern amenities. Location of the property is very nice just near the Army Golf Course. Must visit...
