Parijat Retreat, situated in a small village called Danpo, at a height of 5500 feet, Bhatrojkhan, District Almora, lies right next to the famous Corbett National Park, the Retreat is a soothing abode built of stones, giving it a traditional look and feel of occupancy - awaits you with warm exuberance. The land offers you an opportunity to feel the magic of the mountains, experience the nature and wildlife in the up-close vicinity and know the many secrets of the ancient medicinal science of Ayurvedic herbs, plants and rare species of trees growing in the wild in the forests; and to add up to this a rendezvous with the traditional cultural flavour of the Kumaoni customs and life style. And even so the visit has much more to offer – the lively and holy river Ramganga adding to the scenic beauty of the place and the four religious abodes, namely, Gangotri, Yamnotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath also known as the ‘char dhaam’ of the land of Gods - ‘Uttarakhand’.

I loved the food & the hospitality of the staff at the resort. It is a small resort but the prices are reasonable and is complete value for money. Good location and again, specially the great food made it a great stay. A special mention to Ms. Priyanka Sameer, Govind and Chef Harish.

It is a complete value for money resort. Reasonably priced given minimal activities but things like excellent food, wonderful staff and location made everything extremely wonderful. Kudos to Ms. Priyanka (Mktg. & reservations), Sameer (Managing the resort), Chef Harish and Govind for making it a pleasant stay throughout.

Got to get out of home after such a long time and never expected this type of experience. Staff here is very very polite and must say they are way too much hardworking. Even the owner of this place:Mr Aditya himself is a very nice person. Would definitely recommend everyone to visit if you love peace and need a break from the concrete jungles and have some enjoyment with nature.

A beautiful weekend getaway nestled in the lap of nature with a comfortable 8 hours drive from Delhi. We stay 2 Nights with 4 rooms. Rooms are neat and clean. Away from City and Covid. The staff was courteous. The food is lavish. Specifically bhaddu mutton. Love it. The kids too enjoyed playing in garden. A welcome change for entire family. Memorable stay.

This is the worst hotel ever I have visited. The cook prepares the food by touching a dog 'Bruno' and without washing the hands. The cook along with another guy manages the guest at reception along with 2 more immature guys. Goibibo has the policy that customer will get cable but this guy hasn't recharged tatasky instead of our continuous reminders during our 2 day stay with 3 rooms. If you all wanted to book this property pls be aware that it will come with these surprises. The rooms are not cleaned during our stay and basic hygiene is not maintained as per the guidelines for covid 19 protocols like washing of hands by staff, wearing of masks etc. I took my time to write this review so that guests can take the call accordingly for safeguarding their family and near and dear ones. There is another lady Priyanka who introduced me herself as owner of property but later found the owner is Mr.Aditya which I think he is unaware of these nuisances as lady gave a damn after complaints and didn't pick up a phone several times.

This place is build facing the valley and the view is beautiful. There is absolutely nothing that you can do there but it is a birder's paradise. Early morning and evening all you have to do is be ready with your binoculars and camera. The rooms are good but the washrooms are small. The food is okay. You will have network problems (jio works fine). On a moonless night, you can ask them to switch off the lights and be out with your telescope. All is all a good place if you want to do nothing.

I booked a room in Parijat Retreat through Yatra.com based upon fair ratings by Tripadvisor. However, the pathetic service came as a surprise. Following are the complaint points:- 1. No directions anywhere on the main road. On reaching the Hotel had to honk several times for someone to open the Gates. 2. No sanitisation process seen anywhere, despite COVID crisis. Our room didn’t appear sanitised. Even the bed sheets were not changed - excuse given was that bed sheets given for washing have not dried! Dirty towels were changed upon request. 3. Washbasin drain pipe in the toilet was broken and all water was spilling into the floor! 4. December month is the coldest at 7000 ft height but no room heater was present. A single filament heater was provided upon request for Rs 300/- on condition that no bill would be provided. Had no choice but to take the offer! 5. TV was not functional. We were informed that Tata sky had not been recharged. 6. Wifi was promised but not provided. 7. Staff was sleeping till 7:30 am and had to be personally awakened. No response on intercom. All the above despite only one customer (Us) in the entire Hotel. What would happen if it was fully booked? Avoid the Hotel!
