Queens Meadows is located on the slope of a hill in a reserve forest 5 kilometres from Ranikhet town, and it offers spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. Our pristine and secluded location is 600 metres from the roadhead and is accessible only by foot. The 10-acre property has only 15 villas and tents, all with stunning views of the snow-capped peaks. Queens Meadows is the ideal location for nature lovers to experience the unspoiled Himalayan wilderness, while staying in the comfort of a thoughtfully designed resort staffed by an enthusiastic team of local staff members who are delighted to serve you. We source fresh organic vegetables from nearby villages and grow some on the property itself. All our Milk and Dairy products are Organic and come from an in-house dairy. Bon-fires, barbecues, jungle trails, day picnics to simply enjoying the mesmerizing views of the Himalayas - There's a lot you can do at the Queens Meadows Ranikhet.

Detailed Reviews
It was a friends meet, & we've spent 3 days 2 nights in this beautiful property. We were 3 families comprised of 6 adults and 5 kids. Before I get into details, please find below pros/cons in terms of the property, approach, food, Staff, Service, Cleanness...
cons:
1.Avoid Sr. people with knee related problems. Its hard for them to reach the resort and then move around. That's the only drawback I can think of.
pros:
1. Amazing property -we had 3 Villas with amazing view
2. No TV
3. Amazing Food - I'm telling you, in case you are a foody, you'll love the food served here. You'll not find huge variety, but the taste you get is amazing. I prefer to have good/tasty limited food rater huge variety with no taste.
4. Room Service: Amazing people ready to help you in any way. You need tea/milk, they'll provide you...they don't even charge for that. :)
5. Property is very well maintained, clean surrounding by lush green forest
When you reach the property, you find porters (arranged by resort only) to move your luggage to your rooms. Its roughly 600 mts up-hill walk from the road to the resort.
At last, I really want to name a person Mr. Sanjay who own the property and this guy and his family is ready to help you out in what ever way that makes your stay/trip pleasant.
Overall, an amazing property, with amazing service to cherish your stay.
P.S.: Please take Liquor, Maggi and other eatables along with you. That'll help you while staying in the resort. There is no shop to buy anything nearby.

it's a nice cozy place, warm staff, always willing to make one feel special, taking care of one's smallest need.
this property is around 5km from the main town, in complete isolation. reaching the property is an uphill trek, sounds interesting but tends to restrict movement. one concern here is the absence of a dedicated parking area. the cars are parked on the road in the open, though they claim the area is 'safe' but still a dedicated and guarded fenced parking area adds to peace of mind.
we were offered a complementary room upgrade by the owner who himself stays at the property. really appreciate this goodwill gesture. we had booked a tent for ourselves but were put up in a villa. nice cozy place, beautiful view of the Himalayas and the sunrise from our balcony. the villas being located on the higher areas offer a good view of the whole property and the surrounding areas. another suggestion for the rooms; better lighting would be really appreciated. the lighting is too dim. a personal choice since i prefer well lit rooms.
there's a dedicated bonfire area for each room, they had arranged for it and it was a nice experience.
the following afternoon the owner had suggested we go for lunch in the forest. everything was taken care of by the staff. we trekked uphill to reach an isolated spot, the chef cooked biryani for us, arranged for a hammock too. it was again a nice experience specially customised for us.
overall the food is good, completely customised for the guest. we wanted to try the local cuisine there and a special dinner was arranged for us, everything was farm fresh. delicious food!
a nice change for city dwellers, not much to do here as such, just unwind and connect with nature, spend time with yourself and just let go, these people will take good care of you! though attention to finer details (considering the price bracket) would really be appreciated. the place is pricy, i have no complains but at this price i'd expect better accommodation and cleanliness. another suggestion; consider providing bottled water instead of filtered water, because not everyone is comfortable consuming filtered water.

We looked for a good hotel in Ranikhet which was quite a challenge. Most of the accommodations in Ranikhet are quite basic. By chance we came across Meadows Queen and were absolutely thrilled.
The owner and host Sanjay made us feel welcome from the moment we booked, well ahead of our actual arrival. After a 15min walk through a magical pine tree forest we finally arrived at the 10 acre resort where Sanjay and his friendly and helpful team were waiting for us. We were the only guests at the time and were treated with a lot of attention and personalized service. The food is fantastic, healthy, "home cooked type", partly with products from their own organic garden and very tasty. Not the typical hotel food!
The resort gives total privacy and tranquility and is designed with great attention to detail. We didn't feel like we were staying in a hotel but more like we were staying with friends.
I can highly recommend Meadows Queens to everyone, it is a paradise!

Our stay at Queens Meadows was special. The 15 minute walk from the car parking area to the resort set the tone for what awaited us- A pristine Himalayan holiday away from the crowd. The villas are spacious and comfortable with a balcony offering fabulous views of the snow peaks. There are many thoughtfully designed places all over the property to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings and views. The food was exceptional. The highlight was the outdoor barbecue dinner by a bon-fire that was arranged for us. The chef mentioned that most of the veggies and ingredients are grown within the property or sourced locally. Most of the staff are from the nearby village and are very hospitable. Great experience. Highly recommended.

We traveled as a couple as stayed there for 3 nights. All the aspects of the property - location, view, Hospitality, food, staff - were impeccable. The only word of caution is the uphill trek of about 15 minutes from the main road, but that is also the reason of a marvellous view of the wide Himalayan range from the property. Once you are in the property, you don't need to go anywhere else. We tried almost all the cuisines and were not disappointed by any single dish.
Mr. Nand Kishore manages the property pretty well and staff is very courteous. Very good property for an off-beat and quiet experience.

A few years ago, I had read about Queens Meadows Resort, Ranikhet in one of the Travel Magazines. Since then this place was on my list of places to be at. 16th Oct 2021 was the day when we checked in. I must say that the resort is one of its kind for any NATURE LOVING traveler. Cottages and luxury tents are built without interfering much with the terrain of the hillock on which the resort is located. The amenities and ambience are top notch. The staff is courteous and attends to all your requirements with genuine smiles on their faces. The spread of the meals is extensive enough and the taste of the food here is heavenly.
Our find at this place actually was the fine human being Mr. Sanjay Sareen (the owner of Queens Meadows). He is a superb host to his guests and a great leader to his staff and their families. Mr. Sareen was very attentive of all our requirements and tastes and he took care of us in the manner that is beyond our thankfulness. During return journey, he got us some food packed, just in case we get stranded, and that's what exactly happened. We were stranded for some 20 hrs. near Ramnagar, Jim Corbett due to unprecedented rain. During this time, Mr. Sanjay remained in constant touch with us as if we were his family. This speaks of his greatness and simplicity as a fine human being. We wish Queens Meadows family all the happiness and good health. This surely was not the last time we visited this place...... we will keep coming many more times..... God willing. :)

One place to meet all your needs in Ranikhet. Staff is exceptionally great to help, come what they don't feel tired or say no to any request.
Great property with amazing food, landscaping and quality rooms.
Since the resort has rooms spread over the hills, keeps you physically fit post lavish meals.
We enjoyed the best and freshest Kumaon cuisine.
Kudos to the owner and staff for a pleasant stay.

We stayed here for two nights from 27 to 28 April 2022. The resort is located in jungle and one has to park the vehicle on the road below. The luggage is ferried by the porters to the resort which is around 15 minutes steep walk. The cottage has superlative amenities and awesome view. The food is extremely good. The hotel restaurant has an amazing ambience. We did trekking to Heda Khan Temple located in Chillyanaula Village. We had our lunch at machan which is beautifully made. I would love to come back and stay at QM again.

Queen’s meadows is a perfect getaway from the busy city life to rejuvenate and recharge midst nature. The property has been done up with care and preserves the natural beauty and experience. You get a lovely view of the great Himalayan range as you eat breakfast (the skies need to be clear though) or even from your room and balconies that are designed to get a breath taking view. Wake up to a rabbit finding its way, birds chirping, Cruise (the pet at the property) announcing arrival of someone or the bell ringing in the temple for a morning aarti.
The staff is courteous and Sanjay ji was one of the kindest and most generous caretakers (as he chooses to call himself since no one can own nature) who guided us through our stay making it comfortable and interesting.
We enjoyed the benevolence of a lunch in the forest 🌳 during our stay. Highly recommended for nature lovers, those who like to walk and explore or are looking to step away from concrete to recharge!

The location on a hill in the middle of the woods is very soothing. The service and the food, including the barbeque was exceptional. Special thanks to Mr Sanjay who looked at our every requirement. It is near to many places such as Military museum and Apple orchard. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The chef also made a superb forest- lunch for us which made this a perfect holiday.

I would recommend that you plan one or two nights stay at Kasar Jungle Resort near Almora. Similarly you should plan one or two nights stay at Kausani also. Two nights stay at Ranikhet is good enough to see places around.Nothing much in Ranikhet market as such.
Yes we have arrangements for drivers .
Dear Sir,
Yes taxis are available from Khathgodam for our resort.
Thanks
