Queens meadows is a boutique eco resort in the Himalayas located 5 kilometers from Ranikhet Town. Built out of passion for the mountains and it's fragile ecology, Queens Meadows is a Traveller's delight! Queens Meadows is approximately 10 acres of expanse, in the midst of 100's of acres of Pine & Deodar Forest. Perched on a hill top ,the property offers stunning Himalayan views from October through March. During Summers, you might still catch an early morning view of the imposing peaks. No vehicular access is allowed to the property and the only way to reach the property is by taking a small trek of about 600 meters from the main road through tall Pines & Deodars. Your vehicles are safely parked by our valet drivers, at a designated parking, and all your belongings are hauled up by our care takers.
Accommodation at Queens Meadows is either a Luxury independent Tent or a Villa. We just have 8 Villas and 7 tents. Both Tents and Villas are well appointed and are a tribute to the ecology of the Mountains. Floor plans of each villa differ from other, as no cutting and filling has been done to accommodate a particular floor plan. All the stone and wood used for construction, has come from old dilapidated British time homes , and have been reclaimed. Every single piece of material has been transported from the road head by mules or by the local workforce.
Food at Queens Meadows is a gastronomical delight. A well appointed restaurant set amidst pristine surroundings is the perfect place to relish your morning Breakfast. Our Chefs dish out the best of Indian , Continental and local Kumaoni Cuisine. Care is taken to personalize your food menu as per your choices. We source fresh organic vegetables from nearby villages and grow some on the property itself. All our Milk and Dairy products are Organic and come from a dairy within the premises.
Experiential Holidays are our focus. Our accommodation and food are just facilitators to the overall experience. Bra-be-Cues with bonfire and even dinners are set out in the forest seamlessly with ease. Guided Forest walks and village tours are times of self discovery and enrichment. Nature is your neighbor and soul mate. Come enjoy the experience, discover your inner self through an outdoor journey. Queens Meadows is a destination in itself, not just a resort---- It is a lifetime experience....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome!
If you want to be close to the nature, then this is the right destination for all travel freaks. Sanjay sir is a very polite & kind hearted host and he left no stone unturned to make this holiday for us a memorable one. The resort staff was friendly, cooperative and at your service all the times. And don't forget the awesome and delicious food quality that is surely a first class.👌 Kudos to their hospitality for this pleasent experience. Keep up the good work as always ☺️ Regards Shubham
We stayed here for two nights from 27 to 28 April 2022. The resort is located in jungle and one has to park the vehicle on the road below. The luggage is ferried by the porters to the resort which is around 15 minutes steep walk. The cottage has superlative amenities and awesome view. The food is extremely good. The hotel restaurant has an amazing ambience. We did trekking to Heda Khan Temple located in Chillyanaula Village. We had our lunch at machan which is beautifully made. I would love to come back and stay at QM again.
A few years ago, I had read about Queens Meadows Resort, Ranikhet in one of the Travel Magazines. Since then this place was on my list of places to be at. 16th Oct 2021 was the day when we checked in. I must say that the resort is one of its kind for any NATURE LOVING traveler. Cottages and luxury tents are built without interfering much with the terrain of the hillock on which the resort is located. The amenities and ambience are top notch. The staff is courteous and attends to all your requirements with genuine smiles on their faces. The spread of the meals is extensive enough and the taste of the food here is heavenly. Our find at this place actually was the fine human being Mr. Sanjay Sareen (the owner of Queens Meadows). He is a superb host to his guests and a great leader to his staff and their families. Mr. Sareen was very attentive of all our requirements and tastes and he took care of us in the manner that is beyond our thankfulness. During return journey, he got us some food packed, just in case we get stranded, and that's what exactly happened. We were stranded for some 20 hrs. near Ramnagar, Jim Corbett due to unprecedented rain. During this time, Mr. Sanjay remained in constant touch with us as if we were his family. This speaks of his greatness and simplicity as a fine human being. We wish Queens Meadows family all the happiness and good health. This surely was not the last time we visited this place...... we will keep coming many more times..... God willing. :)…
We had a great time at Queens Meadows and most importantly I as an individual, I bonded with Sanjay uncle (the owner of the resort) very well. He made our trip even more special with his friendly and welcoming nature. And not forgetting the lovely team who made our stay perfect in all aspects right from the food to cleanliness!
This is by far the best place to take your family for a vaction to . Gobsmacking food , amazing view and very warm reception from all the staff members. Need to make this an annual affair . Best place for stargazing ,relaxing or just meandering like a lost sheep . Greenery all around and activities arranged by them are simply mind blowing.
It was a friends meet, & we've spent 3 days 2 nights in this beautiful property. We were 3 families comprised of 6 adults and 5 kids. Before I get into details, please find below pros/cons in terms of the property, approach, food, Staff, Service, Cleanness... cons: 1.Avoid Sr. people with knee related problems. Its hard for them to reach the resort and then move around. That's the only drawback I can think of. pros: 1. Amazing property -we had 3 Villas with amazing view 2. No TV 3. Amazing Food - I'm telling you, in case you are a foody, you'll love the food served here. You'll not find huge variety, but the taste you get is amazing. I prefer to have good/tasty limited food rater huge variety with no taste. 4. Room Service: Amazing people ready to help you in any way. You need tea/milk, they'll provide you...they don't even charge for that. :) 5. Property is very well maintained, clean surrounding by lush green forest When you reach the property, you find porters (arranged by resort only) to move your luggage to your rooms. Its roughly 600 mts up-hill walk from the road to the resort. At last, I really want to name a person Mr. Sanjay who own the property and this guy and his family is ready to help you out in what ever way that makes your stay/trip pleasant. Overall, an amazing property, with amazing service to cherish your stay. P.S.: Please take Liquor, Maggi and other eatables along with you. That'll help you while staying in the resort. There is no shop to buy anything nearby.…
Our stay at Queens Meadows has been most memorable. Originally the thought of trekking up those 650 meters of steep hill climb appeared daunting for us 70 years old’s. But, I guess even at that age you can manage it if you are fit and are used to daily walking or any sport like golf. Mr. Sanjay Sarin, the owner, was very helpful in guiding us to the place. He even drove part of the way to lead us to the destination. He is humble, courteous, and exceedingly gracious. He ensured that every requirement and comfort needed for the stay was anticipated and provided for. The food was sumptuous and hygienically prepared. The menu each day was delectable and well-chosen. The icing on the cake of our stay was the evening with a bonfire, barbecue, and live music. The crooners were talented and delighted the guests with popular numbers. Most of the guests danced away the evening enjoying the bonfire and the big barbecue spread !! The rooms are well provided, clean and comfortable. They are spacious and each has a lovely view. We must add a word about the staff. They are professional, caring, and very polite. They took pains to ensure that all our needs were fulfilled—and smilingly too! What impressed us the most was the way they were able to accommodate our ferocious German Shepherd. Our pet enjoyed the stay as much as we did as he could roam around freely in the open sit-out of our cottage without disturbing other guests. What was planned by us with a certain degree of apprehension due to the uphill trek to the resort has turned out to be a most pleasing experience—an experience that we can most unhesitatingly recommend to others. It is a great resort for a relaxed family holiday with kids. It has a well-equipped clubhouse with several sports facilities. Thank you, Sanjay and a big thank you to your excellent staff !! Geeta and Vinod Rai…
One of the best place in lap of nature, you can enjoy the place and indoor games. No TV in rooms is a nice change. Owner of place Mr Sarin is very humble, cooperative and helpful. Food is very good and tasty, though spread is limited. Approach of place is by road , around 5-6 kms from Ranikhet , Subhash chowk.
We stayed at the resort in November of 2020 and cannot think of a better place to stay in Kumaon. First off, the owners made us feel at home and went above and beyond to take care of us. You could not find better hospitality anywhere. Second, the location is beautiful. So quiet and the views are absolutely stunning. Third, the food is out of the world. Last, but not least, the staff is also very welcoming and will do everything they can to make your stay comfortable and the best it can be. Thank you everyone at Queen's Meadows.
The place will have an instantly calming effect on ur senses.the warmth of staff and overall feel of the place is bound to satiate those who are looking to get a natural detox from the daily hustles of life.stunning location, wonderful service, beautiful property.great experience!!
