We stayed at The Ranikhet Club over the long weekend of 9,10, 11 and 12th of October 2016. It is a heritage property from the British times, which unfortunately was gutted in a fire in the late '80s. It was restored in the late '90s with the help of the Ranikhet Cantonment Board and Chevron Hotels (who run the place... More

Ranikhet is Army Cantonment area headquarters of Kumayun regiment. Basically it was army club with small space later it was opened for local officers and reputed people . This club is also affiliated to various reputed clubs in India. I had lunch there and enjoyed it's old history.

We were a family of 4 and stayed for a night. The property has only four rooms and that too very small rooms. Bathrooms are major letdown. The property is very old and needs major maintenance. Though it has a bar, its more of a namesake bar. When we visited in mid april they had only two available brands (one... More

You got to go there with someone who is / has been a part of the Armed Forces! Alternatively, you need to be a member of one of the affiliated clubs! One more option is to get your booking done through Hotel Chevron who are managing the accommodation part of this Club

Its basically an army club who have given 4 rooms to Chevron to operate an hotel. Totally different from Chevron Rosemount. We got fooled & ended paying up much more than what this hotel deserved. It was very difficult to find as no one around knew that this is a Chevron Hotel.
