I reached at 6:30hrs in the morning but we had to wait till 9:30 hrs in the morning as rooms were not there. Sitting arrangement near reception was not sufficient, a small sofa is there. We 5 had to manage to sit 3 hours. There was no window in the Gr floor rooms. There was no restaurant in the hotel only lodging. They don't give bill for the stay and they accept only cash no credit card or ATM card machines are there. It seems entire business is running by evading the tax to the govt. Very congested location.

The only best part of this hotel is that its close to the Mahakal temple (Barely 2 - 3 mins walk). Good for visit at anytime as per your convenience.
The check-in was time consuming as I was waiting for rooms to get vacant (morning check-outs). The rooms are just fine - Ok for a day's stay. The wash room and the faucets need maintenance. The bed was comfortable. The staff at the reception and the room service staff are very helpful and are eager to assist you. I didn't opt for any food from the hotel as there are plenty of options near the temple. Nothing much to say however you can stay here if you planning to visit Mahakaleshwar and have the enjoy the flexibility of having multiple darshans as per your convenience. For Ujjain sight seeing, there are plenty of auto-drivers who will take you and at a fair price (provided you bargain with them)

Hotel royal palace is a decent place to stay with family. All basic amenities are available. Indore aiport is also nearby. Lot of food options available nearby.Hotel staff is helpful and informative. Price is affordable.

A clean and decent place with close proximity to Mahakal Temple. It is just 2 mins from the temple complex. Rooms and Bathroom are clean with clean linen. Staff is helpful and welmannered. Overall a good place with affordable price to stay at Mahakaleshwar. Highly recommendable to everyone visiting Mahakaleshwar.
