The place is very near to the main temple, free bus services available for the temple, every 15 min. Well managed, but some citizens never understand the cleanliness of the room and other outside premises. Outside room, complex and the premise was very cleaned. But, room washroom need to clean little more. Staff and humble and polite. Free food available within the premise, but never recommended from my side. Budget food stall and restaurant available just in walkable outside premises. Overall experience was good, go for it.

We stopped here for some tea and refreshments in our way back to Pune from a tiring trip. So there was ample space of car parking and inside the main premise tables and chairs were clean. So do the restroom area.
We asked the staff to serve us some tea and Bhajiyas. They served us freshly made tea and Bhajiyas. Taste was good and somewhat we were looking for. They have lodging facility also which is a plus point. I hope they have maintained the rooms the same way they have the restaurant area.

The location was excellent. Ample Car Parking. The room Size was big for three persons in one room. AC Cooling was not enough. A good option for an economic trip. The frequency of Battery operated vehicles to Mandir was very low. The bus option is also good, but the frequency is high.

Pathetic place to stay. Except Sai samadhi Mandir all other service are pathetic. Staff of Sai bhakt niwas are like a Goons...special the room booking counter clerks and security guards. I think they have taken Sai bhakt as granted. They refused to provide any solution more ever they will start shouting....it seems that they have only desire to get thier salary.

The hotel is run by the Saibaba Sansthan. Exterior is beautiful. Rooms are terrible. I checked out and went to hotel. The room was full of cockroaches. I went to reception and requested to change room, I was told to vacate the room since all rooms are alike. I was in B building Room No 021 GF. It was disgusting.

The Sai Bhaktha Nivas in Shirdi probably gives the cheap and best stay in Shirdi.

I had booked a room for 4 people for Rs.150 (ROOM TYPE: SBN - FOUR COTS) .Later extended the room for one more day.

When Check in, you should show the acknowledgement printed and they'll give you a receipt for hot water and they collect Rs.3 For four people, they collected Rs.12 from us.

The room was clean, four large cots. But there were no bed sheets. So if you are going to stay there, don't forget to take them.

The toilets were clean. Bathroom and toilet are separate and not attached. Hot water is supplied between 4 AM to 12 NOON. You have to carry it from a particular place where it is distributed. Luckily our room was just next to that place.

The most favorite part in my stay is drinking the tea in the Sai Bhakt Nivas.Tea is available for Rs.2, coffee & Milk for Rs.3. However the quantity was less. But still worth it. Biscuits were also available. It was mentioned that 1 litre water was sold for Rs.8. But it was not available during our visit.

The only drawback, I found in the complex, was its location. Its around 1.5 kms from the Temple. Shuttle bus services are available frequently. But you have to wait for some time in a queue. Autos are available. They charge Rs.10 per person to reach the temple.

Another thing what I noticed was that during check out, they didn't get any signature from us. When we asked about it in the inquiry, they also said that that was the procedure. I don't think that that was is a good practice.

I am too small to write review about Shirdi, it is home of our beloved “Shree Sai Baba” and hence a Place to refreshes the mind and soul.

I must say, If your heart needs healing and you need to calm your aching soul, just board into a bus / train / car to Shirdi and rest will be organized automatically and forget all your worries at once.

Sharing my visit & stay experience to Dawarawati Bhakt Nivas. We stayed in Dawariwati Bhaktanivas, on 2nd Feb - 2013 with family of 1 Sr. Citizen, 2 adults and 2 young children.

Booking Experience :

Did On-line booking through "https://online.sai.org.in/", 1st I have registered to this site with all the details like address and ID Proof.

Web site provides date-wise details like vacancy, type AC/ Non AC, no of Bed, Tariff etc, available on-line room, check-in time details.

We booked 3/5 Person non AC room @550/- only. Since we have senior citizen joining this, hence also booked on-line for "Pooja - Pass" to avoid long queue of 2-3 hours for senior citizen

Booking can be done from 60 days upto 2 days advance of visit date, Booking was very very smooth, printed the web booking confirmation.

Reaching experience :

Reached at 4:00 PM, very easy access, just next to Sai Mandir, taken 1st right turn, after 100 mtr drive to internal road reached Dawarwati Bhakta Nivas .

From out side, very big complex, neat and clean complex premises, very big garden with children play area. its a huge property,

Pleasant surprise to see ample covered parking for residence guest vehicle. At the entrance I paid Rs15/- as parking charges. Parked my car to one of vacant covered parking slot.

Reception is at center of Building complex. Entrance to reception was with proper security check. One big plasma TV is installed at reception, where Live Darshan was telecasted.

Check-In Experience :
At reception, presented the Web Booking Confirmation, took only 3 minutes to complete the formalities, no deposit was required for my booking, got the Booking Slip and Key of room allocated to us. Staff was very very helpful.

Room experience :

Reached the 3rd Floor, room allocated to us through Lift, 3rd Floor boy has entered all the entries from Booking Slip to his register and showed us the room.

Very big room, with 3 Beds, pillow, blanket, 2 Plastic chair. Cleanliness of rooms, beds, pillow, blanket, bathroom/toilet was good, but an overall air of shabbiness prevails. No Towels were provided.

Hot & clod water supply was available from Bathroom.

Quick Walk around to complex:

One small canteen in the ground floor offering Tea (Rs1/-) , coffee (Rs1.50/-), Milk (Rs1..50), bottel water (Rs8.0), Buiskits (MRP) . This canteen is running round the clock 24/7 basis. Very good tea, try it.

Observed "Mahaprasad" Counter, clock room counter inside the complex to serve devotee .

No Room service was offered by Bhaktanivas.

Mandir complex is 5 minutes walk from this Bhaktanivas.

Night sleep was cool, early morning, I watched complete pooja, baba jee holy bath, telecasted from Mandir, a life time experience.

Overall, Dawaravati Bhaktnibvas has the best location and undoubtedly good value for money,

Decent experience, will stay again with family.

The stay at new bhakta niwas was really worth the money. You can book through online and the booking experiance was really good. If one wants to book their darshan, that is also possible through their online facility.
The room was really comfortable with running hotwater and 24 hours tea and coffee available at the premises. Food is available from morning 10. I think one has to pay a very minimal amount to eat, but the day we went somebody has sponsered so we got it free.

There is a free shuttle bus service between the sai mandir and new bhakta niwas.
On the whole, the stay was really very comfortable and the price we paid for
it was not too much.

The new bhakta niwas at Shirdi is nothing less than a boon for devotees who need to stay for a day/night while visiting the temple. Had booked an AC room for Rs. 610 only, which had 3 beds and 2 extra beds included in the total tariff. Towels & extra blankets/pillows are available on request. The hotel is clean and so are the rooms, but the toilets need to be looked after & maintained properly. For the price paid....nothing in Shirdi can come even close.
