I got this hotel booked through their own website. The rooms were pretty expensive but were projected to be good on the website. In all, I booked 03 rooms. In reality, they were not good. The size of rooms was very less. The washroom was in a very bad shape. In one of the rooms, the toilet seat was not operational. On being asked about this from the hotel desk, they refused to change our room and promised to send someone to repair it. After reminding them several times, someone finally did come and made it operational. It, however, remained a big inconvenience for us.

The restaurant was bad as well. The hotel desk was always rude and unhelpful. They even tried to cheat us in arranging transport to Kopergaon railway station.

It was cheap to have a hotel in shiridi @525 per day, but its located 3 km away from shiridi/the main temple. Staff were cooperative providing information about the locations to visit near shiridi, transportation information etc. But the food was worst, frequent power cuts, limited hot water facility(only to be used early hours in morning).
If you book this hotel online you wil get it cheap rather than by booking or extending your stay there itself. ive booked at 525 per night through cleartrip, but when i asked hotel manager about the rent he told 750 per night so i extended my trip by booking online.

Hotel Utsav has been one of my worst experiences. Bad rooms with unclean bathrooms attached to them, Irresponsible staffs, Money oriented management. Ordering food is a big task here. I ordered for tea, for which the staff tells me, it would take him 1 and half hour for getting it; which I never got for the whole stay.
I will never recomend any body to choose this as an option for stay, as you get much better staying options near shirdi.

Not good. Bad reception. That guy was very rude. Bad food in the restaurant attached. Dark and dingy corridors. Rooms were okay. No shower. No hot water. The flush does not work properly. Do not go here.

All other hotels were booked and we found booking at hotel utsav, the room size is small but OK for small familiy/couple. looking at room charges and room tariff, this is good hotel in shirdi for short stay. hotel staff is helpful and hotel is around 2-3 km away from hotel. in the evening a walk around hotel is recommonded. you need to be demanding for housekeeping and other basic facilities.

The hotel was really a pathetic one. We entered the hotel at 23.45 and then we landed to room which was not cleaned and having the dustbin and bathrooms dirty. The lines was used and and having dusts. The pillow were giving foul smell. The bathrooms were not having running water.

Booked this hotel through make my trip as it had a good deal. I fail to understand why make my trips and other co's take such sub-standard booking after knowing the hotel reviews. Everytime, I booked through make-my-trip, I found their offer was beyond expectation, but this time they failed and henceforth, will take steps to see all the reviews before booking anything. To get to their place 2 kms away from the shrine, the richshaws charged 100 bucks (Rs 100 is the to n fro charges to Shani Shingapur) after checking in, we changed at least 5 rooms but all their so called standard rooms were not cleaned properly, no water, no electricity. Electricity! we were told was running on generators, Pathetic! In and around the places, there was electricity but not in this hotel, so much so that we could not even charge our mobiles. No hot water like they claim, no cupboards, no racks, their TV was only a showpiece(antique). Its not worth staying in this hotel for free, so pathetic was the condition out there. If at all you really want to stay, I think the Shiridi Sanstan's hotels are the Best!

First good part:
Utsav Hotel is better then other hotels in/around Shirdi. Its 8-10 mins away from Sai baba temple, so its away from rush/traffic.
Hotel does serve food and it was good.

Now the bad part:
Bed had bed bugs (dhekun). I was surprised to see them and ask for room to be changed. They obliged.
Hot water was not available for bath. I need to call 3-4 times and then I got a bucket full of hot water.
If you are going for Kakad aarti in early morning hours, then you have to take bath with cold water.
Room was not ultra clean and we have to ask them to clean it.
Bathroom glass slate was broken.
Some room had a big whole above the DOOR. So this mean anyone can hear you and you too can hear people outside.

On the whole it was an AVERAGE motel. If they fix above issue, it would be a GOOD motel to stay in.
