We were two families traveling together on a weekend.... We had chosen the hotel after the reviews on Tripadvisor... On the first impression it wasn't looking a good choice but things became better as it progresses... Rooms were ok and had basic amenities... We chosed cottages instead of rooms which had a big lawn around every cottage to laze around......

Beautiful property. Fantastic location. The most amazing part of the offering is food. As a vegetarian family, we are always skeptic of the spread but the cook and the staff delighted us with authentic and delicious Rajasthani food. The courteous staff in the hotel is an added bonus.

We spent two nights at the Burja Haveli and found it a lovely place in terms of design, location etc. It feels very authentic. The room was clean and the staff very helpful. On the downside, guests should be warned that the hotel sometimes host large events which means huge noise until late at night /early in the morning. This...

I just returned from a two week trip to India and Burja Haveli was a nice rest stop while visiting the palaces in this area. It's certainly quiet - a bit off the beaten path. Ask for a room around the courtyard, which is quite pleasant for an evening beer or a coffee. There was drumming by local musicians and...

Nice place. A bit far from main city. ample parking available. Main attraction was the evening rajasthani folk singers. Made the evening lively. Food a bit over-priced. Games like badminton, carrom available.

Visited Alwar over a weekend and chose to stay in this Haveli. The rooms are good, huge bathrooms and nice courtyard. In the evening they had few folk artists performing, with topped up with rajasthani cuisine to give a complete traditional feeling. However, the food is not that great as we expected and the food items are over-priced. The hotel...

We were a group of 12, 8 adults and 4 kids, booked 4 rooms and none of the rooms were like other. Being a heritage property (250 year old) you can't expect the rooms to be the best but it's ok for the price you pay. They have nice courtyard where we spent most of our time as there was...

We had a very poor experience at the Burja Haveli. We had to request the basics like towels and blankets. The hotel also hosts large events so the noise can continue til late. Check before you book if you want peace and quiet.

Visited Burja Haveli restaurant with family last week and the taste still lingers on my mind. Tried out some authentic bajra roti and dal bhati with churma. The rotis were prepared in front of us in the traditional style by the rajasthani women served with spicy garlic chutney. Live folk music lighted up the mood of the evening and we...

We stayed here for one night and had a lovely stay. Rooms were fine with good amenities and helpful staff. The setting was restful and after a long day's drive it was great being able to sit down with a chai and enjoy the surrounds.
