Over the last three decades, the ‘Neemrana’ of the stunningly restored 15th century Fort-Palace, has come to mean many things. For architects it is a unique example of utter waste turned into a 14-tiered marvel with palace wings, courts and stepped gardens, felicitated with national and international awards. For guests, it means discovering over five centuries of history experienced with modern comforts. Only 100 kms from Delhi, just off the main highway NH8 to Jaipur, Neemrana Fort-Palace is a favourite site for celebrations, feasts, conferences, a quiet retreat for yoga and relaxation or India’s first site where you can indulge in five thrilling zip-line tracks that literally fly you in the sky. Built since 1464 CE, on a plateau of the two billion year old Aravalli ranges, this 14-tiered property sprawls across 10 green hectares / 25 acres. For guests, this offers 76 rooms/suites, 3 conference halls (Jazam, Qanat & Kasturi), hanging gardens, arched pavilions and balconies. The upper levels of the northern wing of the Fort-Palace can now be accessed from the car park by a 110 feet high lift which leads by the Saat Bagh to a second box lift. This architectural wonder can now also be enjoyed by the elderly and the less-abled who can be shown the upper parts carried on a palanquin chair by four able men ! Neemrana Fort-Palace has two spectacular pools that lean out to the sun. The upper pool is heated in the winter months to take the enjoyment of sunsets to another level. An intimate play area for young toddlers & the adjacent Neemrana eco-farm have been added recently so that you consume healthy organic food. The guests can enjoy the snacks at the Hawa Mahal restaurant and Raj Mahal Bar between 11 am to 10:30 PM. We serve only buffet for lunch and dinner is laid at various indoor and outdoor venues for guests delight. We do not have any provision for in-room dining. Ride a camel/camel cart or a vintage car. Walkout to the 18th-century stepwell which descends 7 floors into the earth. Feel a new Indian high. To have you here is to share our life’s vision of how ruins can revitalise a whole region. Neemrana not only strive to revive and restore the heritage structure but it also generates jobs and economic opportunities hiring and consuming locally. It is no wonder that Neemrana has been listed in the 100 things you must do on the planet Earth before its time for you to leave it ! But when this list was made, only one Neemrana existed – now there are 17 !

We visited Neemrana fort palace for a weekend two night three day stay end July and the experience right from the booking, initial exchange of mails /telephonic conversations to the actual stay was exceptional -special mention of Mr Manohar and Mr Pankaj who went out of the way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable . Every review has repeatedly highlighted the sheer beauty of this place ,the architectural splendour ,the laid back atmosphere, the magnificence of the evening sky ,the constant sounds of the peacocks early morning and the breathtaking view of the fort lit up at night -but I would like to add a few more pointers which may help the discerning travellers with similar interests 1) For visitors from Delhi be prepared for some delay ,and disruption near Shahjahanpur as the Road is booked due to ongoing farmers agitation-this becomes worse on the return journey 2) To really soak in the ambience and the various moods of this wonderful place I would advise a two night stay ( if possible) - 3) We had all our meals ( except buffet breakfast ) at Rajmahal bar /snack and did not feel the need for a heavy buffet /gala lunch or dinner. One can take snacks ,drinks and enjoy soup in a relaxed manner with less crowd -thanks to Mr Namdeo who attended on us 4) The early morning dance of the peacocks Is a must see from the fort . 5) This one is specially for the bird lovers -there are lots more birds to be explored nearby apart from the peacock and parrots , Everyday In the morning 6am we went fur a walk through the nearby Neemrana farm house and along the farm land and aravali hill areas and surprisingly saw a lot of birds ( some new even for us )- Indian Robin, Golden orioles,Red wattled lapwings, hoopee, paddy field pippet , plum headed parakeet, little Asian bee eater, grey franklin( titar) ,sparrows, knob headed duck female and Indian silver bill etc ( any one interested in more information can contact ) 6) A walk to the nearby Neemrana baoli is a must ( we were guide by Mr Pankak ) .It’s a architectural splendour -9 storeys deep with a very deep well 7) The evening sunset is a out of the world experience -the orange coloured gray sky on one side and the beautifully lit up fort on the other side -dp just enjoy and take life long photo memories with you 8) The evening cultural Saturday night performance at the amphitheater is also a must attend It’s a must visit place and should be in ones bucket list

Me and my girlfriend visited here today for my birthday party which also happened to be a surprise dinner planned by her on the Neemrana Fort Rooftop that turned out to be a proposal 😋. The place is eauisite with an out of the world experience. Sorrounded by hills on one side and the city on another, it was the fanciest life had ever . And none of this would have been possible without the help of F&B service Mr. Prateek Yadav and Chandra Prakash. They were excellent helps, very kind and hospitable. And in case you want to capture these lovely moments, do ask for Mr. Prateek. Way to go guys! 💪
