Detailed Reviews
This is erstwhile royal house converted into a hotel. Grand entrance. Rooms are small but bathroom is pretty large. We stayed only one night and left early in the morning. It is overlooking the lake and excellent view. Good lawns and garden. Since we left before breakfast time, they gave a generous packing of aloo parathas, pickle, french fries. All service with typical Rajasthani smile. Great experience.

Hi, I visited 2 April 2015. Few words about the Hotel;
1) Hotel is little top compare to other hotels which gives excellent view of Mount Abut. You need to have own vehicle or you can rent a bike for reasonable rate. Reaching to other place without vehicle is too painful.
2) Standard Rooms are really standard. They are just rooms with bed , ac and bathrooms. But Delux rooms are better as they are located in actual Hotel. Standard rooms are outside the main property. Both Standard and delux rooms are small compare to other hotels (may be because it is a actual palace converted into hotel).
3) Food quality is ok. I do not recommend to eat food.
4) Hotel Staff is good and helpful. Hotel is well maintained.

The Jaipur House overlooks the whole town of Mt. Abu, a stunning view both at day and at night. The standard room was a bit small, we barely had room to open our luggage. Wifi worked well in the office. The staff were very nice and the restaurant was more than adequate. They also serve meals on the terrace which might be very attractive but we weren't made aware of the option. Since this is an Indian resort town, don't miss walking into town at night to observe the crowds on the streets.

The location is quite good. However, the standard room wing is away for the heritage wing and the rooms are quite small. The charm of the heritage wing is lost for the guests in the Standard room wing.
Food was reasonably priced.
Location was average. about 10 minutes from Nakki lake. But a steep trek back in case you want to go for an evening walk.
Staff tried to fleece money. Really had to fight to get the correct billing amount.
Left with a bitter taste in my mouth.
The reception Tried to charge rs 1500 plus taxes for extra bed without bill. Was told that the printed rate was 1200/- He then added taxes and charged taxes (Rs 400/-) but gave bill for only Rs 1200/-.
Got charged for an ice bucket - RS 100/- No bill forthcoming.
At the last moment when we were about to leave, a waiter said that they had forgotten to bill for Bisleri and Milk.My bills had those items. But he wrongly said he delivered it twice. As we were in the car and wanted to get out without a scene we paid. Wanted money in cash. I told him to deduct from the tip...... Really pathetic service.
Never again at this hotel. Made me mad enough to write a review for this hotel to warn others. Spoiled my mood after a lovely trip.

this is a heritage hotel with good view of mount Abu. Very bad small room with no proper toiletries. They claim free internet but doesn't work in room. Breakfast is worst, nothing good. Keep everything open. Staff is very unclutured. In the money you pay there are better hotels. In map it's placed at wrong place. Have to ask many times to reach there. Overall nothing good.

When we first arrived at Abu, I was a little put off by the hoardes of noisy tourists. But by the time I left, I was in love - with the fresh mountain air, the beautiful views from the hotel, the friendly staff and the delicious food at the hotel - made it tough to say goodby :)

We stayed for a day on a driving holiday through Rajasthan.
Heritage property which needs effort to locate, and to reach (narrow lanes et al); situated on a high peak overlooking the lake, this is the best feature here..
Entering the estate at the lower level takes you through well tended gardens before you reach the upper level. Adequate free parking space available.
The Top level room was highly recommended, and we could see why.
This has the entire terrace, and sit-out dining options under the chhatris all for you.
Truly outstanding views, even from the room-especially in the morning.
The room was basic, the bathroom seemed an 'add-on' as an afterthought.
Not many modern conveniences (Old CRT TV, old hot-air blower, tatty blanket); no reading lights, poor quality bathroom supplies and worn out towels were disappointing.
Antique furniture was interesting, albeit with some mismatches (beautiful tiger clawed writing table & chair- sideboards were gimcrack).
Wi-Fi worked only around reception.
Breakfast was served in a sunny restaurant with fair views; service was attentive & quick (in general staff were polite & responsive).
Spread was adequate and check-in / check-out process was efficient.
Other than the location & views, there is not much to recommend this property.
Overall, I found this average value for money

Nothing for kid and you need vehicle to come down to lake, even to go market. This hotel just have a good location for premium room. Dont go for standard room those are servant quarters of hotel.
Nope, They Dont Have. Even in M.Abu, Very very rare hotels will have this kind of facilities.
you need to call them before come, and may be yes they would if u will take their higher suite room. and with extra charges.
it depends on which rooms u have selected. if u selected normal room , then dont.
and if you will select any suites room, then yes u could have it. they are very co operative as well.
