Detailed Reviews
It is worst hotel, I stayed in any hotel run by state tourism department. Rooms are dirty even sofa has lot of dust, room heater not working, ceiling has spot of leakage. Don’t lure by low price, poor utensils, old aged furniture. Seepage at different place, no Cleaning of surrounding area. Miles difference in modern day hotel to this hotel.so many things can be done in cleaning by local but no attention is being paid by local team.

The hotel is not very well maintained..they have a canteen-like restaurant..rooms are spacious but the blankets are very uncomfortable..no wifi no shower not even a good soap..it gives u this 90s feel of a rest house in himachal..food was ok (chicken had too much oil though)..stayed with my wife for 2 nights..I had only stayed because of a corporate booking..when i asked them to shift our room they refused..
its basically cheap..but slightly at the cost of convenience..maybe the cottages wud b better..parking is abundant (we had our own car) but there is very less street light in the complex..so its scary to take a walk at night..bcoz there is otherwise a beautiful view at night..

You'll get plenty of good hotels at central area of Mount Abu which charge less and are clean too. .
Hotel staffs are not very cordial and inflexible. .They tried to serve us only a cup of tea in breakfast at 7:15 although we've informed them last night that we will leave within 7 am whereas breakfast is complimentary. .
Only word of caution is try to avoid any weekend (if your hotel is not booked) there coz nearby people of Gujrat come by large numbers. .

See if you are going with an expectation that at 1000 / 1500 you will get a 5 star treatment, then problem is not with the hotel, it is with your expectation. Rooms are spacious ( take room at first floor). Staffs are very helpful and food is tasty. Good part is that they don't have tv inside the room. Better spend time outside, instead of spending time in front of tv.

Location of hotel is amazing. Definitely, you will enjoy blissful morning. No autos are available in Mount Abu. You should have two or four wheeler for visit mount abu. You can take two wheeler on rent from Abu road. Neat and clean hotel. People have written negative about reception but I feel staff is good and cooperative.

The location of Hotel is great notwithstanding the walk uphill. The rooms have basic facilities and great views. It is very spacious. And if you are not expecting to spend the whole day and night in the room itself, this is the best place you can be with family. The Bar is located a little away from the rooms that means you don't have to be bothered about having unpleasant encounters when with your family. Complimentary breakfast is great. The staff are helpful and if you have small children, you can ask for specified meals from the kitchen. Online booking is easy at RTDC website. The only problem is that you have to pay the taxes in cash.

Recently stayed at this hotel for two days. Overall experience is pathetic. The property is run-down and not maintained. The local management is uninterested and detached. A good location wasted. The entire environ smells of babuism rather than professional hospitality. Suggestion in one work - Avoid

We stayed there in December 2012.... peak season. Got the standard rooms for 1250 per night (booked well in advance). When we checked in...it seemed we were in a "dharamshala". very basic rooms, old worn out furniture, no TV, no view. Location wise- far from Mall road and lake. Better book with other privately managed hotel, at a better location.

We visited this place during diwali and landed here since most of the hotels were booked. The place is not fancy but clean and serves good veg food. The hotel is walking distance from the market place and the staff is helpful. The good thing the rooms are spaced out and not within one building so we got lucky and our room was adjoining to our friends. Not sure if I would go back but it is definitely a decent place if you go on an unplanned visit and are left with not many options.

hotel is really very dirty.this is government operated hotel.not only room but every space of hotel is rubbish.spider web in room.and big lizard on out space wall and bedroom and toilet..im choos delux room.but i think they really not know meaning of delux.i think even dharam shala is batter then this 3rd class hotel.they not supplie basic amenities like toothpaste and toothbrush.he give bathroom towel after i ask 3 time.no intercom and no working tv.no child play area.bedsheet is like 5 year old.fungus on room wall in rainy seasion and they not renovated it after finished seasion.mosquito in room. andnot working toilet flush.color of water in bathroom is yellow with dirt.and most important thing is hotel is so..so on uphill maybe 1 or 2 km from main road and market..if you have not your own vehicle you are tired to reach hotel by walking.bcz not rickshaw or taxi pickup and drop you there.food is just ok.not good not bad.but veg and nonveg both in same kitchen.so keep it in mind.if you want visit market or go to somewhere all the time you forced for out your car for waking down.bcz i already said hotel is on uphill from main road and market.after all you are not feel comfort in hotel.but this is government operated hotel.so we not Acceptation much more..lots of hotel available in mount abu at high and low price.so you have batter option for choosing hotel before shikhar..
