Stay only if you don't get accommodation in anywhere else. This is a typical RTDC hotel whose location is the only plus point. Otherwise the place is just falling apart. We paid about Rs 4000 per night for AC room which is definitely overpriced with respect to its deplorable condition. Broken windows, beer bottles, non-working lights, malfunctioning geyser, substandard food... More

Though the rooms are a bit small but there arrangements are too good, and that is why you won't mind to stay there..The hotel is at the top of the mountain and that is why the balcony view is awesome..

We stayed at Hotel Shikhar in June’16 last week. It’s a very nice place to stay. Away from the sounds of vehicles, peoples. But don’t think that it’s in a very far off place. It is very near to market, Nakki Lake. It’s situated in a hill top. Managers, Mr. Yashpal Ji & his associate Mr. Rajender Singh Ji are... More

I stayed on 11/06/2016 and 12/06/2016 at RTDC hotel shikhar (mount Abu). The property is located at prime location in mount Abu but the facilities are worst. There was power cut for 6-8 hours on both days that too in the night. I was surprised to see that RTDC does not have generator or Inverter at this location. Moreover there... More

Hotel Shikhar is a RTDC hotel it has both AC and NON AC rooms as well as cottages. Service is a bit slow but acceptable. The breakfast was sumptuous and tasty. Buffet breakfast is veg only but the staff obliges you with Omlettes at extra cost. Courtyard yard facing rooms are a strict no. As such the hotel rooms do... More

Typical government hotel. Staff is very good. Rooms doesn't look too clean but they are good. In peak season when other Hotels charge you a bomb this will save your budget. Did this in uttarakhand at ram nagar. So private Hotels first and then this. Oh avoid if you don't have any vehicle as like name it is on a... More

I was in this hotel on 19 & 20 March. The booking was done on the spot & there were quite a few rooms available as there was less crowd in Mt Abu. The room booked was an AC room with room heater which we did not use as it was not required. The linen was neat & clean. The... More

It was a part of our office off-site. We normally go and stay at the state tourism department hotels. So our expectation is well set. It's a well located property (most tourism department hotels are built on prime property). But is in desperate need of maintenance. I stayed in the cottage. It's a good 200m walk from the reception. Cottage... More

This hotel is seriously deprived of maintenance. When we checked in, what welcomed us was Stinking rooms, stained blankets and bedsheets, dirty doors, leaking geysers. Hotel staff is arrogant, doesnt give a damn about customer comfort. Restaurant serves average food and if you need some extra sugar or salt, there is no one you can complaint to. However the location... More
