Nice hotel with excellent hospitality. Speacially Anjana mam is very nice. N also the staff , quick service of delivery of food ordered to our room.Just one drawback is that it is located far from market area.

If you are booking this hotel, then be prepared for,
a. paying a healthy sum of money for a poor service. The Lady Manager is really good & helpful but the staff employed under her are totally irresponsible, sluggish and callous.
b. Food offered is average but you will be charged at par with a good restaurant.
c. Room size is very small as compared to the tariff charged.
Overall dont prefer this property unless no other option left.

A nice and comfortable place for stay. Good peaceful environment and everything is neat and clean. Staff nature is too good and friendly. Little bit need to visual concentrate for staff about balcony. Overall experience was very good.

It was a nice stay. We booked online and the hotel staff told us the best deal. We got an early check in free of cost. Special mention of Mrs Anjana Gujral for her homely hospitality and kind behaviour. Very nice stay and would recommend the hotel further.

Room were decent and the staff was very cooperative. I like how friendly they were and food was also decent... I would recommend it to people if they are looking for a nice stay under budget.. Nice property and dinning hall. Only Wi-Fi was not upto the speed.

Great hospitality and great food. Rooms were clean and staff were on the toes to help their guests. Yes it is 1.5 kms away from main location but if have your on vehicle or scooty its not far.

We had a plan to visit Udaipur and also Mount abu .We have booked 2 rooms in this hotel for one day ( Check in - Sun, Mar 16, 2014 & Check out - Monday, Mar 17, 2014).
Unfortunately when we asked our taxi driver in Udaipur about Mount Abu trip, we came to know that road from Udaipur to Mt Abu would be blocked by local tribal people on Dhulandi (Holi) i.e 17th March , and nobody would be ready to come from Mt. Abu to Udaipur as tribal loot people and also damage the car . We confirmed the same from our hotel executive (Hotel Ram Pratap Palace, Udaipur) and also one of our relative. We tried our best to find out a way but bad luck.
As we had to board a train from Udaipur at 6 PM on same day so we had no other option left than to cancel the booking.
I have spoken to the owner (lady) of this hotel on 15th March and told her about the complete situation. She asked me to call next morning (on 16th March). When I called her back on 16th March, She said that she would call me back within few minutes but she dint respond. When I asked that lady about the cancellation she replied very rudely that I should talk to makemytrip not to the Hotel.
Finally I called up the makemytrip support and asked them to cancel the booking, they said there would be no refund from Hotel side. According to makemytrip executive , lady from hotel said that they were ready to provide cab for us and I dint call her back but she was lying and was trying to make fool of us.
4669 Rs is not a big amount and nobody would take risk with the family to travel in such condition. If anybody from us stuck in such situation then there would be a complete refund or I think it’s a hotel moral responsibility to inform about such situations but for some people money matters a lot. Cancellation polices should consider these kind of situations.
I cannot say anything about the hotel facilities but because of this incident we have realized that it was good not to stay in this hotel and I request every traveler not to travel from Udaipur to Mt Abt on festival like Holi, Diwali etc …

Dear Mr Rohit, First of all apologies for any sort of rude behavior from our end. In any situation what so ever it may be we are not entitled to be rude to our guests, this is against the hotel policies and even madam who is the senior most adheres to such policies. We from the entire team would want to convey our heartfelt apologies. Furthermore sir i would like to bring to your notice the cancellation policy of our hotel and that states that the entire amount of the booking to be retained in case of a cancellation initiated within 48 hours of the check in time, ie if you try to cancel a booking before 2 days of your stay we have the authority to retain the full amount, please refer to the refund policy on our website. Nevertheless we are pretty lenient on this policy and offer a refund of almost 70% of the entire amount up to 24 hrs in OFF SEASON. Yours was a seasonal travel and we were entirely packed and so a refund just a day prior to your visit was not at all feasible for us. You had specified that your travel agent told you that we would provide a cab which was incorrect information. We from our end never provide or commit inter city services. This was false information provided to you. Sir I do understand your situation but at times we are just helpless and have to go up for steps which sometimes are considered not acceptable to our guests but then we need to explain our side of the story as well.... Well that is just what I am trying to do :) ..... Sir we sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience caused to you and would like to make up for it by providing better services next time. We will be glad to host you again and hope to turn you experience around. Till then Sorry and hope to see you soon ... Team Yorkshire...

We had done booking on phone; the MD said 3850/- for 4 bedded room. Later on, for confirmation, another male person picked up the call & we confirmed the rate, the person said that this is not the rate but since the lady has confirmed I can give you the room. We said it's up to you, no problem. We did not force. After all these discussion, finally the rates decided by the "MD (MANAGING DIRECTOR) was Rs. 3850/- per night for 4 bedded room.
Confirmation was given through mail by Ms. MD. Token amount was deposited the very next day in the morning. The same was confirmed by us and Hotel Yorkshire Inn's MD through trail mail. In every mail, we kept repeating 4 bedded room, and they kept confirming.
Since we were unable to locate the Hotel, we called & asked for the way. At that time, MD was in the hotel only. Within 2 mins she went for lunch (because she knew she made a mistake for hotel rates).
To our shocking & worst experience, when we checked-in, they showed us double bedded room (for couple, instead of family room). Staff said Madam has informed us to give you this room. Very clearly we had mentioned we wanted 4 bedded room. When we called up, THE SO CALLED MD didn’t pick up the phone & SMSed that she is driving. For an hour she didn’t pick up. The male person with whom confirmation was done, he said “3850 mein double bed milega, 4 bedded room nahi milega.” I argued that if you couldn’t give why did you give the confirmation for the same & that too in writing (mail). I have come all the way from Mumbai & now you are giving this reason. I had not forced you to give the room. They had said since the lady has told, I’ll give. And this male person too was not present at the hotel. Very easily they escaped as soon as we reached hotel.
We told you come to the hotel & give me 4 bedded room. Time was 1 PM. Very conveniently he said “ITS MY LUNCH TIME”. Means, he was not bothered that the guests are suffering because of our mistake. And very rudely he said “jo karna hai kar lo, abi mein aapko room nahi dunga”. He gave refund (because it was his fault). Very very very very rude behavior. Rating should be given in negative for such hotel. And they have parking onlt for 2 cars.
BEWARE FROM THIS MD & HER PERSON. WORST MANAGEMENT. DON'T TRUST THEM. CAN SPOIL THE WHOLE TRIP. WORST BEHAVIOR IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
