A beautiful tranquil location. Beautifully decorated rooms lovely bed and bed linen. Look no further if you are looking for a place to rest in Normandy. Christine is a fountain of knowledge and was a helpful hostess waiting up for us to arrive as our ferry had been delayed. We were greeted with a warm fire and choice of hot...

This is a wonderful, tranquil place to visit to experience complete relaxation. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a great attention to detail - no stone was left unturned. The host Christine couldn't do enough to ensure we were well looked after. She gave us meals with all fresh produce she had grown herself in the grounds and it tasted...

Christine is a most gracious hostess and has a wealth of knowledge of the area, e.g. restaurants, things to do, etc. She was always available to us. The farmhouse itself is exceptional: clean, well-appointed, and the surrounding area is beautiful and tranquil. We would definitely recommend La Clergerie to anyone planning a stay in Normandy. I found the previous (negative)...

Don't want to waste too much time on this place as we've done enough of that. Summarised review as follows: No hot water in the shower. A spare bathroom in the accommodation, with separate hot water system, was not made available to alleviate the hot water problem (however 'Mme. Anglais' could open this bathroom for an extra charge). No serious...

First of all La Clergerie has not been run or advertised as a B&B since 2006/7. The family that left this review rented the accommodation on a self-catering rental basis which is how the business has been run since then.. Before accepting the booking this family were required to sign and confirm that they had read and accepted the booking...

My husband and I stayed at La clergerie in May 2006. I can truly say that this was one of the best B&B we have been to. It is an old manor yet decorated with all modern amenities with a great eye for detail. The decor is cozy, elegant and luxurious with lush confortable bedding. Breakfast was excellent, it included...

After reviewing a dozen or more websites, we chose this charming old farmhouse built in 1706, and we found, beautifully restored. Our room was very comfortable and the owner charming and extremely helpful. We visited the D-Day beaches, museums, and beautiful countryside and are anxious to soon return. On our first evening, we enjoyed a perfectly wonderful dinner prepared by...

Like no other B&B I have ever stayed in. The room, in common with the rest of the house, was thoughtfully planned and furnished to a high standard with considerable flair and attention. La Clergerie is a good place from which to explore Normandy and a real treat to return to at the end of a day. Mrs. Esteve went...

My girlfriend and I stayed at La Clergerie last summer and had a wonderful time. The most impressive aspects of the stay were the delicious food, the beautiful, peaceful settting and our gracious host Christine who bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. Just a short journey from Cherbourg, La Clergerie was the perfect base from which to explore...
