We had a lovely time staying at this place. It is away from the road, near the canal and among greenery. Very hospitable hosts. Only small drawback was the lack of hot water, but Uni the host's son brought it immediately, when needed. Delicious breakfast and dinner made by his mom. We really enjoyed our stay with them.

Me and my daughter stayed at this family home stay, very clean and welcoming. Unni, the host was super nice and helped us with any question or service needed (find a boat tour best suited to our needs, money exchange, laundry and what not). The room was very clean, air conditioning, towels, soap and toilet paper was provided as needed. No hot water in the shower, however with the high temperature outside, it wasn’t a big deal at all (and I love hot water showers). Outside there’s a porch, chairs and tables and a nice garden backyard. It’s location is not central, however not too far either from the center (if there’s such thing in this town). You can always call a rickshaw if feeling lazy walking. This town is more upscale in the Backwaters area. We had a great time here!!!

We had amazing and comfortable stay at this home stay. The host Mr Unni is very nice person ,very helpful and courteous. although small but very comfortable place. its also very good located near u can get house boats.

Had a wonderful time here with unni. A warm warm welcome, great food , love the idlis for breakfast. And sweet sharing of songs under the night sky. Unni has a great voice to boot! Taught me some of the carnatic ways of singing. And such a lovely place, comfy bed, quiet , peaceful, beautiful nature . Couldnt recommend it more. Thanks unni!

If you are looking for an authentic stay in Kerala and you love calm and and nature than here you are in the right place. A family is running this home stay, very warm hearted people. The mother is cooking tasty food and Unni can help you out to find some tours in the surroundings and backwaters. It is a ideal place to relax and enjoy Kerala life. It is situated far from the roads and any hectic life.
