I took a three day trip to Illikulam, must say the resort was super awesome, my family really had fun and it was fun experiencing a beach like place were no other land was present except for an endless lake and boats running around. The food was really good just like what you make at home and the staffs were super nice but the food is a little bit expensive but besides that they gave us complementary fruits to eat which were fresh and were produced there only. They also provide place to sit outside which enhances your experience and also we get to eat food there. Rooms were clean as well as the outdoors. Overall a fun place to hang out with your family and experience the beauty of nature and Kerala. Will recommend

The property is located just in front of the backwater that provides freshness to our mind . Food is home cooked best in quality and quantity. Rooms are spacious and clean, but not luxurious.All the staff are friendly and supportive.strongly suggested. it's feels like our home.

Great location. Homely tasty food. Prompt and courteous service. Also loved the boat and ferry services. Food is home made. Especially everyone loved passion fruit juice. Came before 20 years. Would love to come again.

Very good location. Price is normal. Madam Mr. Susan good. I book the room during December 22. I have canceled in the last minute but they are kind enough to give the room during October 23 for the advance I paid. Worth for the money. The have to improve the kitchen and food. They have to provide room boys. I should have given 4.5.

Serene and pristine facility... awesome place to relax and rejuvenate the mind...Vembanad backwaters is just 20 meters in front of the cottage and lakeview is breathtaking....Had our morning tea,breakfast and dinner at the lakeside, a wonderful experience. Food served was delicious and had homely taste. Karimeen(Pear Spot) pollichathu(wrapped in banana leaf) is must try. Friendly and supportive staff.Be it the admin, room service or F&B,everyone welcomed us with a lovable smile, treated us like family and were generous and courteous. Cottage room was of normal size and insufficient storage space.As we spent most of our time in the sitout and the open space near the lake, room size wasn't a major concern.However increasing storage space to be looked into.Barring that the stay was pleasant. I would strongly recommend for a weekend getaway, lethargic stay enjoying the lake view and homely food.…

We stayed here for two nights. The cottages are well maintained and services are prompt. The best part of the visit was definitely the lake view and delicious food on-demand. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming. We will certainly recommend people to visit this property

Excellent location right beside the lake. Nice place to stay with family. Good service by staff. Food served in front of the room facing lake. Can watch sunset and passing boats from the room. Overalll a pleasant stay.

The rooms were decent. Lake side view was excellent. All the staffs were very friendly. Mr. Salim Das was very honest and helped us for a pleasant stay. Overall it's a good place for families. Fishing I the lake was entertaining. Fruits in the organic farm was very tasty

I found this getaway lakeside resort that's nestled in the heart of nature while on my search for a cozy place to stay in kumarakom,The cottages are decorated and offer all the amenities you could ask for. But the real star of the show is the sunset. Watching the sun go down over the serene lake is truly a breathtaking experience. You'll feel like you're in your own private paradise. While the food is on the pricier side, it's worth every penny as the flavors are jus right where they need to be,but it is your personal choice if u opt to order from here . Overall, this resort is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Whether you want to spend your days fishing on the lake or jus enjoying a relaxing day you won't be disappointed.
