Detailed Reviews
My family had a wonderful weekend in this resort. Very nice cottage like rooms, pretty big size. Bathrooms are modern and well maintained. A sit out with chairs and tables is perfect for a Tea and chit chat. Kids enjoyed dip in the pool which is well maintained and is facing the back waters. There are swings and other items to engage kids. Staff was very helpful and was always attentive. Food was very decent too. This place is really worth the money.

I stayed in this very same resort for a couple of nights in jan2014. Had a great experience - warm staff, great food, well maintained. Based on this experience, i booked again for dec2019, turned out to be a real bad surprise, place got expensive obviously but the quality is really going down the drains. Place is shouting aloud for some real maintenance (exposed unsafe wires in lawns, broken street lights, damp smelling rooms & furniture). Frankly where r the staffs who know something about guest relations. On top of all this they charge 2% extra for card transactions in this so called digital india. I had to cut short my stay for a single night.

The view from this resort is gorgeous ! Beautiful sunset and pool location. The staff is courteous and is always happy to help. Particularly Me Deepak at front office and manager Mr Jobin.
Outdoor sitting area in the evening is peaceful though the food needs improvement in terms of variety

I along with my family of two kids stayed at Room No. 108. Though I paid 4500/- I didnt received a warm welcome. In the reception there was a lady given me a cold welcome. After I paid the balance I was taken to the room which was neatly set. Furniture were old and the door wasnt tight which could help somebody to peep in. Towels were too old as if ready to torn. There was no tooth kit. In the eve I ordered for three tea which took exact 19 minutes to serve and charged with whopping 163/- rupees. I avoided dinner as it is highly priced. In the night I went to reception a new guy was there who treated me with warmth. I requested him for the tooth kit. With a caution that it is only for premium rooms he given me a two sets. Thanks... He was so gentle.. At around 10. 05 I ordered for two bottle plain water but didnt reached untill 10.30. So I again went to reception and that guy again helped me by giving me two bottle by opening the closed restaurant. The free breakfast was disappointing .. Bread, jam, butter, idaly and poori. That too in a little quantity. Toaster too old one.. Other guests were also complaining as we all were waiting for food at buffet counter.. the swimming pool were closed at 7. 00 pm. At the check out I had restaurant bill to pay.. On cross check I found that they charged for the water which they havent served. That too 30 plus tax for single bottle when MRP is only 20/-...

Unprofessional staff and Pathetic experience
Very bad staff and highly unprofessional.
Not recommended at all. Staff is not proactive at all
Resort management should give some sort of hospitality training to their staffs. I believe some of the reviews they've on google or other booking platforms are paid reviews.

Gone for a business meet. The wonderfully tailored cottages, named after the Malayalam astrological stars, are indeed warm n cozy.
Being close to the backwaters, be ready to expect the evening and early morning mosquitoes. I suggest carrying anti mosquito roll ons.
Best wishes to you guys and do a great job to all guests.

Ideal place for a weekend getaway from Kochi. Quite place by the backwaters with enough space for kids to be engaged.
Breakfast was simple but wholesome. A value for money destination. Friendly staff adds to the charm

You can choose this place if you are looking for a no frills, value for money resort in the area.
Pluses
The (infinity) swimming pool - with a kiddies pool attached.
well located - along the lakeside n greenery. The rooms are also styled well as cottages along side a canal.
Has two house boats which you can hire in the day or stay overnite.
Some dishes in the restaurant with authentic mallu style.
minuses-
If you are travelling with very young kids, there is just no place where you can leave them unsupervised. (All areas have immediate (unfenced) access to either the inner canal or the lake or the pool).
Some parts of the play area was dilapitated.
found a lot of open wiring in places. Overall may need a safety check from a toddler point of view.

May its because of the off-season but that does not mean that a hotel cuts on the basic services like food and healthcare esp. when they are projected at the reception. Best to be missed.

Actually we did not book any room. It was day trip in the resort and they provide one room as complementry. I think room rate strat from 3000+. Generally one room can use two adult and maximum two child. Pool was open for day time.
You can ask for some kind of pest removal prior to check in. You're bound to run into some aspects of nature since it is close to the water and full of bushes. Also please carry mosquito repellant (Roll On is my recommendation)
I was not impressed with the houseboat. It was not cleanly maintained and not sure about food cooked inside the houseboat. We did not use the houseboat but got a chance to board the boat when it was anchored next to the Hotel. Moreover, it was pretty expensive. It makes sense to use the Hotel's houseboat when you are a group. Not ideal for couple or small family.
Dear Mr. Reteesh, The rate for a four hour ride for a couple with lunch onboard Rs. 6500 to Rs. 8000.00 depending on the season. Pls do contact us directly for more details. John 7356441133
