Priya is the first person I have met in my 500 hotel reviews who whatsapped asking any help needed. I wrote at 6 am she was replying. On checkin she was there at the gate. If any one wants to see what is Taj service it is Priya Vipin and manoj head chef. Even vikram from front desk very helpful. Even Taj should learn from them . We had room 32 which is outstanding. Food is to die for . Chef manoj food and especially deserts wonder of world. Potato veg , stew and coconut ice cream out of world. Have to try mango salad. Palace is beautiful . They need to improve buggy service. No mosquitoes so nothing to worry about. Stellar dance show she is better than any one in the world. Best room is no18 where our ex pm stayed.

1. Exceptional lake facing room 2. Exceptional staff especially the IT person abhijit who helped with the laptop for emergency office work at the room, vishal who helped us coordinate for anything we needed, 3. vishnu the pool trainer was exceptional to help us calm our child when he was cranky. He ran to the resto to get apples and chips to calm him 4. Akshaya was also very helpful to drop us at the resto in the buggy despite going somewer else. The staff too courteous and it felt like home. The activity area incharge and team was very helpful to help us play with the paint gun, bow arrow and feeding ducks. Our son enjoyed a lot. We took the 5k package which included ll 3 meals. 1. A la carte lunch 2. High tea and light snack in the evening 3. Buffet dinner 4. Breakfast

Wonderful family time as i went with my Mother 82 and my son 28 3 generations but we all had a great time . Priya reception manager was so warm and super from greeting to her service She actually made our trip by upgrading us for a night to a poolvilla which made my Mom's experience so special.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful heritage property. The place is an oasis of peace and quiet, where you can sit by the lake for hours, and listen to wild birds, read and watch stunning sunsets. The pool villa we had chosen was big and comfortable, with stunning views of the lake. We ended up hardly using the tiny private pool, but just the views from our villa made choosing it worthwhile. The hospitality was simply outstanding in every aspect, with personalised attention by every dept and every member of the staff - from the prompt replies to my email queries by Shine in reservation, to Priya in front desk, Vishnu at the pool, chef Manoj who would check in on us each day & recommend what to try, to the brave people who lent their bicycles to my kids to cycle round and round the property incessantly, to the evening cultural sessions which were simply stunning; each of these was a memorable experience in itself. The food (we had taken the breakfast + 1 meal package) was superb & with a lot of variety to choose from. The spa is a must try, with Dr Indu’s personalised consultation to help you choose options suitable for you . Our kids had a great time too with activities as kayaking, zip line & the pool to keep them occupied. The houseboat we hired for 4 hours was another memorable experience with phenomenal food! Beautiful property and landscaping but staff too anxious to charge guests despite knowing that guests had to endure a less than perfect stay. Property setup was excellent and the in-room dining was awesome.

A few inputs, no complaints. 1. Management could be more generous with fans in public and private sit out areas. 2. When asked about the boat ride in back waters canals, was told that a one and half hour ride would include. Booked for the same, was guided to a jetty almost next door. The jetty was strewn with garbage. The boat was relatively dingy. No drinking water bottle was provided. The plastic chairs were run down and dirty. The floor linoleum again was dirty and had curled up from edges. The life jackets were properly packed and tucked just under the roof. The engine of the boat was making more than required noise depicting the state of itself. Lastly, we were never taken in any back waters canals! 3. The beverages which are available in room mini bar are not served in restaurants! 4. The spout meant for toilet is in left hand side, rather preferable is on right hand side. 5. I was in room 23. Could not locate a well lit room number wise guiding signs. Again, above are inputs. One expects from a Taj group property such detailing which would enhance guests experience much more.…
