Good ambience, nice location, perfect place to enjoy backwaters. An open boat sunset ride was really enjoyable. Special thanks to Prasanth from customer service. He came to us to understand my feedback on food and insisted to have a lunch which was not planned and he said "we want our guests to be happy while stepping out". Excellent resort for relaxation. The Ayurvedic massage at Ayurmana Spa were rejuvenating. Plenty of food options for vegetarians. Resort staff was very friendly and attentive. Ask for Kavi at the reception for capturing some memories into the camera while at the resort.

It was a great experience in the resort. All the facilities from the basic stuff to comfort and luxury was taken care of in a very commendable way. The attending staff from the reception to the housekeeping was cordial and friendly. The place itself feels like a heavenly atmosphere, with the touch of nature and serenity. From the pottery to mat weaving to cycling to speed boat ride to fishing to evening cruise, there is a list of enormous activities to get the best of your vacation. The traditional evening snacks are the soul soothers and reflect the sweetness of the people over here. The bar service offers the range of varieties to set your mood on. This trip is a beautiful memory for us and we ll be happy to recreate the same again and again.

Kumarakom Lake Resort- A true paradise on earth! I travelled to KLR in July 2022 with my family, a group of 15 and each one of us had an amazing stay and experience. What made the entire visit a class apart was the exemplary service and the courteousness of the staff. Mr Sanjay Verma, the General Manager at the property was extremely down-to-earth, and we could rely on him for any sort of help at any point in time. The entire stay and experience were indeed a class apart and was definitely once in a lifetime. Cleanliness and Hygiene were constantly being maintained with the cleaning happening every two hours. I must say the stay in Kumarakom lake resort is the best so far! The place itself awesome and their staff are pinnacle of it. Their Vembanadu Seafood restaurant, Ayurmana (Ayurvedic massage), Thattukada Tea and Sunset cruise are never to missed if you stay here. We, as a family thoroughly enjoyed the stay /food and Massage. Their hospitality is topnotch! I can never forget the people and their hospitality (especially Angenline from front desk, Cijo from curio shop, Kavi from Activity management) and Teji. An absolute authentic Kerala experience! Great hospitality from every single person. Ayurmana is also a great resource to learn about Ayurvedic Medicine and they provide amazing massages! We love that everything from the structure of the villas, the food, the color scheme, to the decor is all purposeful in order to create the most traditional Kerala perspective. We stayed here for 3 nights during July, We had no expectations when we reached there but were impressed with the service and hospitality from the staffs. They were flexible to accommodate any special requests. The candle light dinner setting, ambience, service and food were really good. Special mention to Prashant the restaurant manager and staffs - Tom and Akshay for their incredible service. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Lake view resort is simply superb. It's just like heaven on earth. We had best time post COVID. Everything is stunning over here. Welcoming, well behaved staff, huge pool room which is always kept tidy, amazing food at restaurant, all activities, spa. We had wonderful two night stay over there. Hope, we had stayed for more time. Kudos to the whole team over there.

Stayed here for only two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Staff were very friendly and the food was tasty. We stayed in a pool villa during monsoon and the pool was comfortable enough to soak in at night. The resort does have friendly mosquitos so plan accordingly. The resort has a lot to offer but we were traveling in the area so didn't get a chance to check everything out. So plan an additional day if you can to chill and hang out at the resort.
