We were two couple and stayed for 2 nights here. It was one of the best resorts i have visited in my life. Room was very well maintained. Swimng in pool was a great experience. Quality and taste of food was just awesome. Service was up to the mark. Over all it was a memorable time of our life.
One of the high points of our Kerala visit was stay at this hotel. The room was unbelievably spacious for double occupancy, well done decor, bathroom that had unique getup. The gardens and lawns faced the backwater on which house boats plied...The view very relaxing. The pool was inviting but as we had just 2 nights and a very busy schedule, couldn't get to swim. Buffet service was decent. It definitely is a classy hotel, with great maintenance and service. Must stay place in Kumarakom!
Awsome place to go, stayed for one night, located at a great location, staff and service was good, rooms were neat and well furnished and well decorated, the best thing about this place is it's location and the view one gets from this hotel.
This is one of the best resort to suit budget. It is right on the lake and huge very well furnished and decorated rooms. Beside location which is right next to seven star Zuri resort, the hospitality here is very warm and one of the best. Also the construction of whole resort is one of unique. And not to forget the best local food and classic bar,
This place was one of my stoppage during my Honeymoon to Kerala.....stayed here for 2 nights in Dec'12.....was mesmerized with beauty....of the place.....my wife could not stop saying WOW....as soon as we step out of our cab....welcome was good....staff was courteous....location of the resort is literally a place which we North Indians can only dream of....every thing was good for me...till the time i had an argument with the restaurant manager.....I asked one of the waiter...whether i can have my snacks & drinks on the pool side...on which he said yes....and when i along with my wife were seated over there with all our setup....he asked us to shift in the restaurant....stating management decision....and after this argument....the attitude of the manager changed....all the smiles were gone....and that way a huge lay back for me....as we do not expect this kind of attitude in hospitality industry.......…
very nice resort $helpful staff. location is fantastic. resort have wonderful view, poll is nice.i traveled as couple they treated very well, staff helpful, room service is superb as well as restaurant , thank u
Good staff Nice rooms clean spacious Well maintained swimming pool Food served by mr gems was wonderful my kids till miss him Great experience. I visited in nov 2012 Separate veg and non veg kitchen. Fully floating hotel. Bathroom clean
We stayed here and were the only residents for the 3 nights. The staff treated us like royalty. Outstanding service. The check in, where we were given a fruit cocktail, the well placed infinity pool, the trips from the lake, the attentive staff and the spacious rooms all beautifully contributed to a heavenly stay. If I could give it 6 stars then I would.Thank you
The newly renovated Grove is a beauty by itself located along side of the lake. My family & I stayed for 4 day. Rooms are well designed, except the sink in the bathroom is too far to reach, especially for children. Need to look into it seriously. Beautiful location for a quiet family outing. Very friendly staff. Food is good. We will visit again if get another opportunity. Night view with light beautiful. Very relaxing at the pool. Many other facilities are on the way, including a mini kitchen. We also went for a half a day boathouse cruise on the beautiful lake b y the Grove. Anyway, we will be going to their sister property in Bali in March 14.
I stayed for 4 nights in The Grove from Dec 24 to 28. Resort is well located on the lake side and having very good lake view from open areas. Rooms are specious and well maintained with big balcony. However, Balconies are of little use and the view from the balcony is towards an open plot with little view of the lake. Only 2 rooms on the front towards lake are having full view of the lake. You need to close the balcony doors after evening due to mosquitos and insects. Hot water was not a problem. Bathroom was OK, it was not the best of a kind which you would expect in the resort like this. I found red ants roaming inside the bathroom. Staff is well behaved. Other activities includes pool, swimming pool, etc.. Kids will enjoy in the swimming pool. They will also provide fishing rods for kids. This resort does not have kitchen with the rooms as with the other Royal resorts. Food is very expensive in the resort restaurant. Roti itself will cost you Rs 50 per pcs, It was just a medium size and normal taste less roti, a person with normal diet will easily eat 3 or more. VAT and service tax extra. As a Royal Resorts member, I would expect a small kitchen with the room at every resort because this was one of the key point based on which they sold the membership. You can sit alongside the pool and enjoy the excellent lake view. Resort is good for one time visit if you are coming from long distance via flight. Next time, I would rather go to Royal resorts in Goa with better amenities which is near to my place(Pune) and has developed beaches.…
