It was a wonderful experience for us to travel in Maniyara houseboat. The owner of the houseboat Mr.Sreekumar made sure that our stay was comfortable and a fulfilling experience. We were lucky enough to have 2 superb staff onboard with us ,Mr.Sharath and Mr.Jijeesh . Mr.Jijeesh assisted by Mr.Sharath made superb food and we can't thank them enough with just words. The food was outstanding. The houseboat was very neat and clean. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed a lot. Scenic spots , lot of houseboats on the way, variety of birds etc. Thanks to the owner Mr.Sreekumar and to the 2 lovely staffs Mr.Sharath and Mr.Jijeesh You delivered a quality stay for us . We will cherish this trip forever.

Arrived in time for lunch and there were only the two of us and 3 crew on the boat. We were treated like royalty and it was an amazing experience. Two level boat with viewing area in shade or in sunshine. Very comfortable range of seating, lovely air conditioned bedroom and spacious bedroom. Afternoon snack was served with soft drinks and delicious evening meal. lovely, tranquil and relaxing and we were sorry to leave. Can highly recommend

We have booked one bedroom 2 level boat for a day trip for family. Highly recommended for the facilities and the food. It was very clean boat. We had a great experience while booking with Mr SreeKumar. He answered all our queries. I did not expect that many items for lunch but very surprised and pleased with the food spread. Everything was yummy.

Amazing experience! Group of 4 girls. We stayed on the premium 2 bed houseboat for one night. The staff and service were incredible. The food served was so varied and delicious and plentiful. If you want to have drinks I suggest you bring your own wine and ask the staff to chill for you. They do offer to stop in the town but then only beer is available.

Amazing experience. You can spend quality time with your family and friends at this place because there's no option to go anywhere. There's fixed time to serve lunch, snacks- tea , dinner for all the houseboats. The food was very delicious.

We were a family of 9 people on board the boat for one night.the crew were very friendly and polite. Apon leaving the crew asked us to pay a penalty of 100 rupees for a broken Glass cup upon the order of the owner. We talked to him about this and insisted that we pay. Forgeting that his boat was supposed to be ultra luxurious with No toilet paper in the bathroom. NO soap in the toilet. NO hot water. Broken furniture in the room. A very noisy and shaking engine. All that does not fall under the category of luxurious.

Dear Guest first of all sorry for your discomfort and feeling. We have given our 3 room luxury boat from 12noon till next day morning 9am. Frankly speaking 1. we have adequate toilet papers in the washroom. 2. We have enough hot water in the washroom. 3. We provide toilet soap and towel in the washroom free. 4. There is no broken furniture in our boat.(we have one dbl coat bed and two side tables in the bed room. Except that we do not have any furniture inside the room). Now what happen, I would let you know all the readers of this review. we give photos of the boat and quaity of the boat before taking a booking. we take a token advance and balance almost 80% collect when the guest check in the boat and after seeing the boat. Every thing was perfect from 12pm to next day 9am, the food, the quality - I mean everything. There was no single complaint till 9am. Every thing changed at 9am when charged against two broken glass. The guest informed that they have not damaged only one and accused the staff of the boat that they have broken. We agreed what the guest told and charged Rs 100 against the broken glass and from that time onwards, the boat was not good, NO hot water etc etc. If a guest is complain against charging of a damage done to our property, we are not considering this review.

Hiii, We have taken 3 days tour package from Shrees tours & travels for Munnar & Kumarakom Houseboat. This includes Travel by AC Car, Accommodation in Munnar, Houseboat with all food in Kumarakom. The tour operator (Ms. Reji) provided me the details required by me before taking up the tour package. Pros: Ms. Reji provided a very good chauffeur (Mr. Kurup Jomon). He is a very good driver and well acquainted in English & Hindi. He is professional, made our trip comfortable, hassle free and also gave necessary information about the places throughout the journey. In Munnar, we encountered rain in Afternoon. Due to rain, our planned points were difficult to visit. Mr. Kurup suggested some alternative locations / points and took us to those locations which had very exciting views. We did not felt we missed something or our half day is affected due to rain. The Hotel Accommodation in Munnar and Houseboat was as per expectation and also matched with the details / photographs provided by Ms. Reji. Houseboat experience was wonderful and different of its kind; food served was very delicious, yummy and made our day. The Houseboat staff is very polite and helpful. My wife was very happy with the arrangements of Shrees tours & travels. Cons: As such, I do not have anything in mind to write in Cons. However, one thing I would like to share about Houseboats in Kumarakom (Kumarakom is approx. 20KM before Alleppey). Though the House boat & food is very good, but I did not find the route of Kumarakom Houseboats very exciting. Kumarakom has very few / Nil Canals. There is no Narrow Canal in Kumarakom. The Houseboat runs for almost 5 hrs in first day in open backwater. In the beginning, due to excitement we did not felt much about the route / canal. But after 1 or 2 hrs, we got bored since the route is not that exciting. I am not sure, but I think Houseboat in Alleppey may have exciting route / canals. I forgot to compare the experience of Houseboats in Kumarakom & Alleppey at planning stage. Overall, my experience with Shrees tours & travels was wonderful. The entire tour was perfectly managed. If anyone wants to visit Kerala and would like to take tour packages, I recommend Shrees tours & travels.…
