Spent 3 nights at the Lakesong resort. Loved the accommodations, the food and sunset cruise and the resort gardens. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. My wife enjoyed the spa services. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Nice indian tradition welcome Breathtaking back water views Cycling Sunset cruise Good food Rooms were ok but all basic amenities are available We felt that staff is more concentrated towards Foreigners As an indian in India we should respect our indian brothers first rather than pampering them... Overall good experience with lakesong as it was only one day stay..

I stayed at Lake Song Resort, Kumarakom for 2 nights with my wife and kid. This resort is located at a very nice place, which is just at the banks of the Vembanad lake which connects Kumarakom to Alleppey. The hotel has a very huge parking space as it attracts a lot of tourists especially foreigners. It is an extremely...

We stayed for two nights. Its a good property on the Vembanad. Good view, specially the sunset. The major downside for us was the cold food served in buffet as well as in room service. They also hardsell their houseboat and other offerings, which are pricey compared to ones you can avail from market.

Pros: beautiful well kept grounds and great friendly staff. Thats about it. Cons: the buffet breakfast was ordinary. Dinner buffet was below avg. All the meats were over cooked and selection was limited. Our room was very ordinary. Always dark even with the blinds open. They boast they have 10 acres of land, but guests have access to very little....

As we stayed for only one night before the traditionnal Kerala backwaters cruise, we used a rather basic room, Basic but with all needed facities ! Lovely gardens, excellent and memorable dinner on the hotel lawn nearby the the lake, at the sound of live classical Indian music! Memorable !

If you have never been to the Kerala backwaters, this hotel will do it at a reasonable price. Gardens make everything. They are very well maintained and perfectly exotic. The reception is nice and the service is good. I did not like the quality of the breakfast and the guest room darkness. I also suggest it is time to replace...
