The hotel is just okay for the weekend. Staff is very amiable, rooms are clean and ample. Breakfast and meals can be improved (pasta/salads are really tasteless); sauna lacks a water dispenser. Pools are nice but aging is obvious. Karaoke night was good for a laugh; tried the 2x1 mojitos but they were way below average.
I will focus on the cons of my experience as I can see pretty much all of the other reviews focus on the good things: * On my room, the safe was not attached to anything, which means one could simply grab it and take it with them. Additionally, when I tried to set a password half of the numbers didn't work, so it was good as nothing. * The main pool, the one located next to the restaurant and the reception is not accesible for elderly people. It just has 2 handrails with no steps whatsoever. In my case, my grandmother always had a very hard time getting in and out of the pool, needing assistance from more than 2 people at a time. * I am perhaps a little spoiled on this one, but I thought the breakfast options were rather weak compared to many other hotels I've stayed at. It wasn't bad either, they could also improve their restaurant size as there are no places to sit 1 hour before they stop serving breakfast. In overall it was a nice stay, at this time of the year (Spring) you can literally find mangoes laying around anywhere you go in the hotel. The food they serve at the restaurant is good, although not very fairly priced compared to the restaurants you can find right across the street.…
Spend 3 nights here with my family, the hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. The beds are comfy and the installations are clean and well maintained. The hotel has lots of mangos trees and green areas, so it feel very tropical and nice. This is plus. The pools are big and well maintained . With lots of seats and beds for people to chilled. The breakfast is very good, lots of fresh fruit and fresh made juices, breads, some prepared eggs, but if you fancy something else the staff would be happy to get your order and make the eggs as you want. This was included in the price, so I would recommended. The hotel offers lunches and dinners with a menu, these are good too. And the prices are not bad. The location of this hotel is outside Giradot, so if you have car great, other wise if you fancy a wonder you would need to get a taxi, is not expensive. Also the hotel has sauna and wet rooms (Turkish style) so this is a plus. I enjoyed that. The pool service for the main one is 9am to 9pm, but at 8 pm the staff start putting up some fences, I think this good, however no when customers still in the pool area, that would be my advise to start putting the fences at 9 pm. It’s like If going to buy a coffee and they are closing and putting the chairs up, that is not welcoming. For the rest happy with hotel and I would probably come back on my next visit to Giradot. I would recommended. …
I loved this hotel, lovely pools and grounds. Full of mango trees and flowers. Very nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms at a very reasonable price. Better to choose the superior deluxe rooms as they are in a new building. Overall a great experience.
I stayed here with a team of 18 from the USA. I travel to many countries and have to say I was very happy when we pulled up to this place as you just never know what you will be getting when booking from outside the country. The rooms were perfect size for 2. Large and the beds comfortable! I don't recall hearing any noise from adjoining rooms. Only one night people partied by the closed pool until about 2:30am. The management really should not have allowed that. I would have complained had it continued or happened again I loved the breakfasts each morning. A really nice like buffet style served out along the pool area. It is already hot early am but with the breeze and the fans going it was fine. Any issues such as key not working were taken care of immediately and the staff was always nice and very helpful to our team. I didn't notice the little restaurant at the end until a couple nights before we left but we were enjoyed a big and so delicious banana split one night about 10pm. The burgers we got the next night were super good too! The price for this place is amazing and we will stay here again when we return in 2018…
