The room I stayed in was Category B and cost 200,000 G for one person. It was simple if a little worn. It was very clean as was the bathroom. The grounds are pretty with many flowering trees and shrubs and a pleasant, well kept pool. Staff in the hotel are very friendly but no English is spoken. The rates...

Beautiful place. Pretty clean when you take into account the ever present wind blowing dust around. Very quiet. Comfortable beds. Decent service, especially excellent in the dining room. Good Internet connection. We would strongly encourage this restaurant to have English translations in the menu. Chef should be educated in flavour combinations and presentations. We were served some pretty weird stuff...

I stayed in one of their basic, unrenovated rooms. It was comfortable and clean. Restaurant has a wide selection and there's a good breakfast spread. Wifi is good, but seems to be limited to common areas. Nice inner terrace. Very centrally located.

Hotel Florida has a nice shaded pool, which was amazing during our summer time stay. The staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant is decent. The breakfast is better than most in PY. This is the most I have ever paid for a hotel in PY and I have stayed in much nicer places. They have a monopoly and...

Filadelfia is around 5 hours away from Asunción. There are no real urban centers between the capital and Filadelfia, so it feel somewhat remote. It is a small city. I was not expecting such a nice hotel in this kind of location. It is simple, but clean and comfortable. There is a terraza in the middle with a lovely large...

We stay at the Hotel Florida for three weeks at a time while visiting in the Chaco. It's a bit pricey for that length of time, but the service is wonderful and staff is friendly and very helpful. Price includes a buffet breakfast, and free internet. The last time we stayed we took one of the newer rooms and it...

This is a basic hotel, but perfectly OK for a few days, and conveniently located for exploring the Dry Chaco. But if you are going north, make sure you have a very tough vehicle, the road is currently terrible (2014)

Stayed for 1 night on business. Room was excellent-very clean with satellite tv, heating and A/C and free wifi. You can hear noises rooms like plumbing etc so soundproofing is not perfect, and the maid left my shower window open so in the am there were 6 or 7 mosquitos in the shower to kill but those were only complaints....
