We have only been 1 night here because it was complicated with flights (the first avalaible flight out of Maupiti left one day after our flight to LAX from Papeete). I mailed around the pensions on the island but everything was booked out except for this one but for good reason! Let me put the good and the bad here:...

We can only say good things about this pension. We were treated warmly and were given a full tour of the pension grounds upon arrival. The property is very well kept and all staff is extremely diligent. Our bedroom was spacious and we were thankful for the mosquito net over the bed (it can be a serious problem!). There were...

Great place to stay. There are bikes, paddles, kayak you can borrow. We spent about 3 days over there and had plenty of time to explore the island. We tour the island by bike. Went to the "Motu" (atoll) with the kayak, you can also walk there. We went snorkeling with the kayak. The pension give you the option to go...

Having just come from Moorea, we were ready to relax and this was the place. I cannot say enough good about the staff - Coco was a wonderful guide on our boat trip and snorkelling at the manta ray "cleaning station" (also he is good people), our cook was so nice (gave me the largest portions at the table and...

Great place, better than Bora bora, we stayed in the traditional built house with coral floor (as in photo left of shelter) free use of kayaks, paddle boards and bikes, the lagoon tour to see the Manta rays and snorkelling was great with Coco. breakfast and dinner in the price, meals were really nice cooked by the friendly Fara. you...

First of all, why are most of the reviews for this place from people who have done only one review? An obvious sign to proceed with caution. Before I get into the good and bad, let me say Maupiti is the most stunning place I've ever seen. Beats Bora Bora, which is breathtaking. Pension Espace Beach is on the best...

Amazing location on Tereia beach. We stayed on the typical polynesian house, very nice, cozy and clean. You have all you need to enjoy the island, free kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles, free boat tour, snorkelling with the mantas and very good polynesian food. Maururuu to Teva (the manager), his family, Coco and Poe for being so kind and friendly and...

I've visited Tahiti, moorea, bora bora and Maupiti. Espace beach is located at the best spot in whole maupiti. Nicest beach, shallow and beautifulu water, good for snorkeling. Felt like a family. Breakfast and diner are included and really tasty. They took us on a boat tour to see other places, manta rays, snorkeling. It was absolutely clean and the...

Maupiti was what we were looking for; remote, quiet, and beautiful. We spent 10 wonderful days at Espace Beach which provided an authentic French Polynesian ambiance. Many thanks to Teva (manager) and his family, and to Coco and Poe, (caretakers of the pension), for their warm and friendly hospitality. We were touched by being included in many of the family...

Stayed here for 3 nights. The location on Tereia Beach is sensational. The accommodation is clean, new, and professionally maintained. The garden and grounds are lovely. Breakfast and delicious dinners - including lobster on the first night - are included. An excellent lagoon tour (shark spotting, coral garden snorkelling, manta ray viewing and sting ray swimming / feeding) is also...
