We spent 1 night at the Lodge - the lodge location at the falls is very nice and their facilities for viewing the falls and the river are really nice. We had dinner by a fire and the Ethiopian coffee service is excellent. The rooms are small and basic - a bed and mosquito net and a basic bathroom -...

We appreciate for posting this nice review. The lodge administration is closely working to upgrade its services. This year the weather is really nice and the level of the river is also in good condition so that guests enjoy the falls. Please comeback again. Regards.

Lovely lodge in the national park with traditional bungalows scattered around. The bungalows are spacious, with pleasant decor, mosquito net on the bed, a small but comfortable bathroom with hot shower. There is electric light and also one electric outlet if you have to charge something. There is no air conditioning but only a ceiling fan, not enough if it...

We really appreciate for posting such a thought from our esteemed guests. Most of our rooms have fans, which we believe that the tukuls are built of meshes on the top as air circulation and think it is suffice for cooling. If we have to use air conditioning, we have to cover the whole wall for effective cooling. We are...

I was surprised when I was there last month. The location of this lodge is as the name indicated with the view of stunning falls. The lodge is found in Awash National Park that makes more stunning for travelers staying more days. Early in the morning the song of birds WITH PLEASANT AIR mixing the Awash falls make me my...

Stayed here in early January 2017. Our group of 5 were the only ones at the hotel at the time. I don't understand why more tourists aren't coming here. Beautiful facilities, relatively. The surroundings are amazing, we tried going on a safari but we had to use our own car which was Toyota Hyace, it ran a flat about 10...

Note about our itinerary. We were travelling in Ethiopia for a month. Outside of Addis, the standards of accommodation vary greatly and we rarely found a place that ticked all the boxes - hot water, flushing toilet, clean bed, good food, running water at all. Wifi is virtually non-existent across Ethiopia because of a government crackdown on communications after the...

We spend one night here and the situation is great, just in front of the Awash falls on a cliff, looking down to the stream filled with crocodiles. It is not luxurious but the wooden mean buildings are nicely fit in its natural environment and the bungalows were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and food was OK (we were...

We thank you for your observations of your stay at our Lodge. Yes, soon after the flow of tourists have become increased and just to nearly normal. It was quite horrible from August to November as the flow of tourists was nearly quite. However, as Awash Falls Lodge is nearly the nearest Lodge in national parks of Ethiopia to the...

The friendly staff were helpful, attentive and responsive to our needs. The central buildings of the lodge complex are spacious, nicely furnished and very pleasant for dining and relaxing. The place is amusing with the falls, the cocodriles, the cliff... but the hotel is not good. It's dirty, old, basic... and very, very expensive. The staff is not very friendly, they want a lot of money for all. So much expensive for the services that it give.
