Party of 12 of us stayed and had a lovely time there. All staff very friendly and responded to our many requests with apparent ease. Late change of room type was accommodated, and meal in their restaurant was lovely, all fresh local produce, beautifully cooked, and nearly every dish was sampled but one of us! Bedrooms, fresh, new good quality...

Rooms were excellent the food and drink were good and a good value. Internet was great in the bar and lounge but not available in our room. Plenty of off road parking. The location was convenient to the ferries, but no match for the exceptional location of their sister property Langass Lodge.

We stayed for one night during a tour of the Outer Hebrides. The hotel is beautifully refurbished and very stylish. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent - food very fresh and nicely cooked. They clearly try hard to use local ingredients. Good selection of wine too. Bar is nice and well stocked. The room we had was very comfortable and...

Stayed just the one night at Hamersay house on our trip through through the islands. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a good size room which was clean and tidy, although the en-suite was a bit dated but still ok. We had an evening meal at the hotel which was very good especially the fresh cooked langoustine,...

We only stayed one night at Hamersay but with the very friendly staff and delicious food we wished we had been able to stay longer. The hotel is stylishly furnished with a coastal theme throughout. A very good menu and wine list. Breakfast was excellent too. Nice outside decking area which could have been enjoyed had the dreaded midgies not...

I stayed for two nights in a comfortable double room. The walls are very thin, but fortunately I had quiet neighbours. The food was good, especially the crab claws, and there was a good selection of drinks. The staff were all very welcoming and professional.

We were very pleased with our visit. The dinner was delicious, well cooked and the service was good,. The food was freshly cooked to order, the staff were...

We arrived on a windy Sunday when everything else in twenty miles was closed, hungry and cold. First impressions were of a cosy hotel. We were given a warm welcome and checked in with no fuss. Great room - good size with king size bed, two easy chairs and tea/coffee making facilities. Also a good bathroom. Staff were really helpful...

We were on North Uist for a short stay, and had let the hotel know that we are vegan. We were worried they would not be able to provide food for us, especially in such a remote location, but they were amazing. We had a lovely selection of dinners to choose from each evening, and they went out of their...
