We had a very pleasant one night stay here during our visit to the Hebrides. Julie is a great host and provided a lovely breakfast and some great advice for our trip. The room was clean and well equipped and the location is ideal.

Travelled to uist for work. Julie kept in contact to find out what ferry I was getting on and to make sure what my eta was goin to be at the bnb. Was greeted by julie who then showed me my room for the evening. Unfortunately I was traveling alone as my partner couldnt make it last min. I apologised...

Julie pours love into this house - it's not a B&B, it becomes your home for a little while. It's super clean, modern and comfortable. You can open the velux roof windows and watch the milky way from your bed and smell the fresh hebridean air. And then there is Balranald itself with it's beautiful bay and peninsula - just...

We have just returned from touring the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and this B&B was the best on our trip. From the friendly welcome, the beautiful room and the warm scones to the departing gift of local free range eggs, it was great. Julie had promised the warm scones on arrival and they were worth the wait. The room...

I echo the review by “Neat and clean with "character"”. The B&B was well located, particularly for the RSPB reserve, we could here corncrakes from our room, which was lovely. The room we had was very clean and tidy and the bathroom was spacious. The cooked breakfasts were very tasty, although the full on waitress service was a little formal...

Facts first: Balranald View B&B is well placed for access to the Nature Reserve. It is clean and neat and the facilities are spotless. For our stay on North Uist we had actually not chosen this B&B but had to be relocated due to a family emergency of the previous B&B. We had a quick look on Tripadvisor and decided...

I just returned from the Outer Hebrides in Scotland and stayed at the Balranaid View B&B. I highly recommend this B&B, it is a 5 star accommodation. Julie knows how to make you feel like you are home, she goes the extra mile each day. The North Uist location is very welcoming and the people on the Island are the...

Having just returned from our trip to North Uist and being unfamiliar with the Island we found Julie and her house ideal, The house was well situated for visiting all the islands and Julie headed us in the right direction each morning to make the most of our visit. The house was homely and the bed room (with it's extras)most...

This was my first holiday travelling alone and I struck gold when arriving at Balranald View. Julie gave me a very warm welcome, and shared her local knowledge with me. My room was lovely, very clean and cosy and a great place to retreat to after a hard day’s walking. Breakfast set me up for the day. I loved my...

We booked the two rooms for just one night. There are a very limited number of B&B's on North Uist and this was the only one that had rooms available. We were greeted by Julie whose main concern was to show us how our rooms "work" before anything else. One of our party suffers from sensitivity to strong chemical scents...
