I stayed in this hotel in September and all I can say is, brilliant brilliant brilliant. The staff were professional and courteous at all times. The bedrooms were very well fitted out and extremely clean. The breakfast was beautifully prepared and wholesome and the evening meal was superb. Fantastic location, free pick up and drop off service, nice breakfast. Enjoyed the stay at Hotel Qaqortoq, easy walking distance to the town centre, presently extending size (August 2016) although this did not detract from a fun stay. Great cafe for local tucker, Musk Ox burger was my favourite. Enjoyed the community spirit in this town.

On a world scale this is a 3.5 star accommodation with a 4 star local rating. This is the best in this small beautiful town of Qaqortoq. It is undergoing renovations with new additions at the present time. People and service are great.

We stayed in the Apartments. It was updated and brand new. Lots of space and all the amenities of home. (including a washer) The restaurant overlooked the town and harbor. Fantastic meals don't forget the dessert.

I'm told the rooms in the main hotel could use some updating though I didn't stay in them. Hopefully, the management will undertake this when construction is complete. I stayed in...

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Qaqortoq very much. The location right next to the supermarket and just above the harbour is very convenient. We had a very large (appartment like) room. A big plus are the computers in the lounge area which are free for use.

Although they don’t look much from the outside being sited close to some uninspiring residential blocks and a gravel car parking area, the apartments of the Qaqortoq Hotel offer a quiet, modern, comfortable and cosy place to stay at the same price as a room in the hotel. Breakfast is included in the tariff and is taken at the hotel....

The hotel room was a nice experience. But I'm not sure if it was because previous hostel. But the room was nice and the service was good. Friendly staff and they were service minded in the pub/ restaurant and I got smoked salmon with boiled potato and dill. And of course a pot of tea
