Stayed here as a stopover on our Camino trek. Friendly welcome, and swiftly checked in to our clean and comfortable bedrooms. Free wi-fi. Dinner was a feast! Huge tureen of scrumptious chicken soup provided second helpings for all of us. The main pork cutlet was accompanied by attractive salad and tasty chips. The Rioja vino tinto was entirely quaffable.

The owner went out her way to make our stay a 'very happy' one! She was delightful and could not do enough for us. We ended up having an apartment to ourselves, which was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and purchased in the downstairs bar, our friends ate theirs in the bar and brought ours up to the lounge in...

The reviews here speak for themselves. This hotel was part of our Camino package and I was despondent when I read the poor reviews prior to our arrival. Unfortunately the bad reviews were true - the rooms are awful, they open up into an internal small courtyard that provides eternal noise all night long. The walls are paper thin and...

Reading the other reviews I was thinking that I stayed in a different hotel! The hotel is a dump and had we had an alternative there is no way I would have stayed here. Our original booking made 6 months ago in a different hotel with booking.com was cancelled at midday on the day we were due to arrive. As...

This was a lovely Spanish hotel, we had a beautiful bedroom, very comfortable, we were a group of 27 and were well catered for and made to feel very welcome. The hotel had a traditional Spanish feel about it and the food was traditional.

My friend and I stayed here whilst walking the Camino de Santiago. The hotel people gave us a lovely friendly welcome, and could not have done more for us. The drinks at the bar were at a sensible price and in convivial surroundings, and the evening meal (also prepared by our hosts) was one of the better ones we had...

This review is solely based on our experience with rooms 406 and 407. Rooms were not fit for the public. Sheets on the beds were very damp, almost wet. There were signs of mold on the walls and one of the rooms was very foul smelling, possibly from the mold. A senior staff member did graciously apologize and refunded our...

It was the only place we found that had free rooms. It's nothing special with simple bedrooms and simple food and simple... Perhaps one of the best features of this establishement is that it is near the center of an interesting town called Melide famous for a couple of restaurants serving seafood
