My wife and and were on the Camino and bumped into the owner, Nicholas on the road coming into town. We stayed one night and enjoyed a very nice room, Brazilian cuisine and tender loving care. My wife was suffering from shin splints and the family drove her to the local farmacia to buy some wraps and medication. So typical...

This is a delightful place to stay, especially for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. It is ideally place near the centre of the village, by the church, but in a very peaceful location. The house is spacious and comfortable but, best of all, guests receive a warm family welcome and are truly encouraged to feel at a home away...

I've posted this on their Facebook page but want to continue praising them. The only problem we had here was finding it. If you know it's by the Iglesia de San Nicolas, it is easy to find, but we didn't know that. It is recently restored and so very clean and comfortable. We had a room with a private bath,...

The owners were fantastic! I read the previous reviews and came armed with questions: they had suggestions on where else to stay, where to eat and transportation advise (for when my feet could no longer carry me!). The food was so yummy and what a treat to get a Brazilian meal along the Camino. I felt like I was having...

San Nicolas is a great CR located just a block from the pilgrims bridge. The host and his family are from Brazil and recent Pilgrims who came back to run this CR. The rooms are clean and modern. The Wifi and TVs all work well. But the best things about the San Nicolas are the hosts and his family's graciousness...

It would be difficult to find more hospitable people or a better place to stay at the end of the difficult day from Rabanal. The family lives across from the Casa, having moved together from Brazil in 2014. The parents walked the Camino and therefore can appreciate the difficulties. The 10K both before and after El Acebo is steep and...

A great find. It stood out from all the other 'one night stands' along the Camino. Run by a Brazilian family who speak many languages and especially fluent in English. Dinner is home-cooked Brazilian fare which was delicious and everyone eats together family style. The rooms are comfortable and attractive and there is a washing machine and a kitchenette.

What a great Casa. Kind and generous hosts, we felt welcomed and appreciated. The home made Brazilian dinner was a welcome change to the usual pilgrims dinner. Casa was very clean and well kept. Situated in a good location. Hosts spoke multiple languages and were genuinely happy to engage with us and the other pilgrims. We are so happy we...
